President Trump called for the impeachment of a judge in a Truth Social post yesterday, referring to Judge James E. Boasberg, who is trying to block the president's deportation of criminal illegal aliens from our country.
The judge even called for any airborne flights to return to the US. declaring, "Any plane containing these folks that is going to take off or is in the air needs to be returned to the United States."
But two flights were already in the air outside of US jurisdiction. They did not return.
A third flight departed after the judge's written order was issued.

Fox News says, "U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg made headlines Saturday for granting an emergency restraining order blocking the Trump administration from invoking a 1798 law to immediately deport Venezuelan nationals, including alleged members of the violent gang Tren de Aragua, for 14 days. Boasberg sided with the plaintiffs, Democracy Forward and the ACLU, in ruling that the deportations would likely pose imminent and 'irreparable' harm."
If the judge is really worried about people being harmed, perhaps he should set aside his prejudices and consider the "irreparable" harm illegal aliens have done in our country and potentially will do if not removed.
"Given the exigent circumstances that [the court] has been made aware of this morning, it has determined that an immediate Order is warranted to maintain the status quo until a hearing can be set," Boasberg said in his order, which blocked Trump from invoking any deportations under the Alien Enemies Act for two weeks.
His decision drew immediate criticism from Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, who declared in an interview on "Fox & Friends" that "We are not stopping."
"I don't care what the judges think. I don't care what the Left thinks. We're coming," Homan said, adding, "Another fight. Another fight every day."
He's right. It's another fight every day for the Trump administration to do what the American people elected him to do.
Who is Judge James E. Boasberg?

This was not the first time Boasberg found himself in the crosshairs of Trump's supporters – he previously oversaw the FISA court that authorized surveillance of certain members of Trump's 2016 political campaign.
Boasberg, the chief judge of the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., was appointed to the bench nearly 15 years ago by President Barack Obama.
In 2014, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts appointed him to serve a seven-year term on the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, or FISA Court – a court comprised of 11 federal judges hand-selected by the chief justice.
The judges undergo extensive background checks prior to their confirmation and are tasked with approving surveillance requests and wiretap warrants sought by federal prosecutors, law enforcement, and intelligence agencies. Most of their work remains classified.
President Barack Obama nominated Boasberg to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Boasberg became its chief judge in 2023.

Most of us may have known that President Obama appointed Boasberg to his first seat, but probably do not know that Chief Justice Roberts personally appointed him to his current seat.
So Chief Justice Roberts has jumped into the fray.
Is he seeking cover for his anti-Trump appointee?
Or is he seeking some kind of "justice" for the criminal illegals whom Trump has been tasked by the American people to remove from our country?
It's difficult for me to believe that a judge who oversaw the FISA court that authorized surveillance of certain members of Trump's 2016 political campaign is not somewhat tainted toward President Trump.
U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has indicated in a statement that seeking impeachment is not an appropriate response when disagreeing with a judicial decision.
"For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision. The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose," Roberts said.
Trump recently issued a proclamation citing the Alien Enemies Act, which dates back more than 200 years ago, as grounds for authority to remove illegal alien Venezuelan citizens 14 and older who belong to Tren de Aragua, which the administration previously designated as a foreign terrorist organization.
In response to the legal challenge lodged against the Trump administration's move, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement to Breitbart News, “The Administration did not ‘refuse to comply’ with a court order. The order, which had no lawful basis, was issued after terrorist TdA aliens had already been removed from U.S. territory. The written order and the Administration’s actions do not conflict.”
She continued: "Moreover, as the Supreme Court has repeatedly made clear — federal courts generally have no jurisdiction over the President’s conduct of foreign affairs, his authorities under the Alien Enemies Act, and his core Article II powers to remove foreign alien terrorists from U.S. soil and repel a declared invasion."
She said, “A single judge in a single city cannot direct the movements of an aircraft carrier full of foreign alien terrorists who were physically expelled from U.S. soil.”

John Daniel Davidson, writing for The Federalist said yesterday afternoon, "Judge Boasberg, a virulently anti-Trump judge with a long history of questionable judicial activism, acting on a request from the ACLU and the Marc Elias-led lawfare firm Democracy Forward, issued a temporary restraining order in hopes of stopping the deportations. There was no hearing, just a blunt command from Boasberg to halt these deportations for two weeks and prepare for a hearing — as if Executive Branch policy, even on sensitive matters of national security, can simply be dictated by an inferior court judge."
That means the judiciary can’t simply dictate to Congress or the president what they must or must not do according to the Constitution. As legal scholar Michael Paulsen has written, “The power of constitutional interpretation is a divided, shared power incident to the functions of each of the branches of the national government — and to instruments of state governments, and of juries, as well — with none of these actors literally bound by the views of any of the others.” According to this view, the Constitution itself, not the Supreme Court, is the supreme law of the land.
