Yesterday, July 13, was the one-year anniversary of the attempted assassination of now President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania.

We all remember. A near-fatal headshot missed by mere millimeters.

Trump surviving that assassination attempt was seen by most Americans as a "miracle."

Not only because the shooter was so close, but also because his security detail was questionable.

Police in San Antonio arrested a Texas man Thursday night after he allegedly threatened to assassinate President Donald Trump. The alleged threat was made in a Facebook post, where the man reportedly wrote, “I won’t miss.”

Be informed, not misled.

Breitbart News reported, "San Antonio police officers arrested 52-year-old Robert Herrera for threatening to assassinate President Trump via a Facebook post. The threat happened three days before the first anniversary of the attack that nearly took the then-presidential candidate’s life."

“I won’t miss,” Herrera wrote on Facebook in response to an article posted by a San Antonio news outlet’s coverage of the president’s planned trip to the Texas Hill Country, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas reported on Friday. Herrera’s post included a photo of President Trump surrounded by Secret Service agents after the shooting that struck Trump on July 13, 2024.

Another Facebook user replied to Herrera’s threat, saying, “You won’t get the chance.”  Herrera replied, “I’ll just come for you,” and included a photo of an assault rifle with a loaded magazine, prosecutors stated.

After learning of the threat, police in San Antonio arrested Herrera, who now faces federal charges of threatening to assassinate the president and interstate threatening communications, DOJ officials stated. If convicted, the Texas man could face up to five years in federal prison on each charge.

A near miss

President Donald Trump shared a riveting video showing scenes of his life and career in the private sector and politics on the first anniversary of his near assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania, yesterday.

The 1:31-second clip shows footage from Trump’s career, or “mythical story,” building up to July 13, 2024, when he was shot in the ear during a campaign rally in Butler.

After displaying Trump’s show of defiance, where he raised his fist in the air and pumped it repeatedly as blood poured from his ear, the video features audio from his speeches through the years.

“What will future Americans say we did in our brief time here on Earth? It will be defined by your vision, your perseverance, and your grit,” Trump said in one quote pulled from his Liberty University Commencement speech in 2017.

Another line was from his 2024 Republican National Convention (RNC) speech in Milwaukee, just days after his near assassination in Butler, in which Corey Comperatore was murdered and two others were also wounded.

“We are Americans. Ambition is our heritage. Greatness is our birthright,” he said.

A miracle

Just three days after the attempt, many Americans told Breitbart News at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee that they believed divine providence was at hand on that fateful day in western Pennsylvania. One woman called Trump “an instrument of God,” while Detroit Pastor Lorenzo Sewell said,  “We saw the hand of the good Lord protect him.”

“The Bible makes it very clear: prayer is preventative, prayer is proactive, and we prayed for him a month ago, and then last week. What do we see? We saw the hand of the good Lord protect him. And whether you love Trump or hate Trump, at the end of the day he triumphed because of the answer to prayer,” Sewell said at the RNC.

Tennessee delegate and Maura County GOP vice chair Lona Heins says, “Evil has a plan, but God’s plan is bigger.”

“If he had turned his head just a tiny bit, we’d be planning something completely different. The fact that he survived it and evil was thwarted is proof that God has a plan and a purpose for him, and it’s for us, to serve us to help us,” she said.

Trump has personally said that God protected him from the bullet as well, as he turned to look at an immigration chart, preventing the bullet from hitting his skull.

Trump also noted that his faith in God has grown since the attack.

Huckabee's message to President Trump

Now-US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, recently sent a personal email to President Trump. It begins with "God spared you in Butler, PA to be the most consequential President in a century---maybe ever."

I'll be sharing on the radio today a personal message that Ambassador Mike Huckabee sent to President Trump some weeks ago, which has since gone viral.

Please join me on the radio in your area today.

Huckabee tells President Trump, "You have many voices speaking to you, Sir, but there is only ONE voice that matters, HIS voice....."
