Charlie Kirk’s Murder Cheered By Liberal Teachers Across U.S

Hateful social media posts by educators reacting to the murder of conservative leader Charlie Kirk are revealing the radical, leftist ideologies espoused by many liberal educators responsible for teaching the nation’s youth.

Posts cheering Kirk’s assassination and suggesting he deserved to die attributed to educators across the country are prompting outrage, investigation, and – in some cases – discipline.

Here are some of the hateful posts by school teachers.

In Florida:

Florida Voice News Assistant News Director reported on some of the scandalous posts by educators in his state via his X.com account:

BREAKING: “We're getting word 3 Lee County Florida School District teachers/faculty have been fired for celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk.”

BREAKING: “Miami Country Day School official Glen Turf RESIGNS after celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk.”

BREAKING: "Disgusting Florida teacher celebrated the death of Charlie Kirk and district tells us they are ‘addressing the situation very seriously.’ She teaches at Ridgeview Elementary.”

Kelly Brock-Sanchez, teacher at Ridgeview Elementary School in Lakeside, FL, has been SUSPENDED following posts celebrating Charlie’s m*rder,” Libs of TikTok later reported, apparently referencing the same Ridgeview teacher.

In New York:

“A Naples Central School District employee has been put on leave over their posts ( link 5 )about the assassination of right-wing pundit Charlie Kirk, the district says,” NBC affiliate WHEC reports. In a screenshot shared online by Libs of TikTok, a “Teacher at @NaplesCSD celebrates Charlie’s ass*ssination” by calling Kirk a Nazi and declaring “Good riddance to bad garbage.”

In South Carolina:

Greenville school teacher Wynne Boliek has reportedly been placed on leave for a post cheering Kirk’s assassination and proclaiming that “America became greater today.”

In Texas:

Goose Creek School District teacher Jennifer Courtemanche is facing scrutiny for a Facebook post, the Houston Chronicle reported Thursday. While the post has been removed from Facebook, screenshots of it have been posted on social media.

“These are the people teaching your kids,” one post says, introducing a screenshot of the Courtemanche attributing Kirk’s murder to “the consequences of his actions catching up with him.”

In Iowa:

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D. (R-IA) called out Oskaloosa High School teacher Matthew Kargol for a social media post saying that Kirk is “1 Nazi down.”  In an update, Rep. Miller-Meeks reported that “the Superintendent has officially recommended the termination of the teacher who made that horrendous post celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk.”

Iowa’s Creston Community School District is also investigating an employee’s comments. A screenshot of a post appears to show school teacher Melissa Crook calling Kirk’s death “a blessing.”

In Tennessee:

A post by Middle Tennessee State University Assistant Dean of Students Laura Sosh-Lightsy’s commenting that it “Looks like ‘ol Charlie spoke his fate into existence. Hate begets hate. ZERO sympathy,” sparked outrage online and was condemned by Senator Marsh Blackburn (R-TN).

“This employee has been fired effective immediately,” MTSU President Sidney A. McPhee later announced. “Simply put, this employee’s actions make her ineligible to work with students on their conduct,” Pres. McPhee said: “Speech can have consequences and her thoughtlessness and lack of empathy mean that no one walking into her office can see her as an objective arbiter of facts.”

Sen. Blackburn has also called out posts by Cumberland University Professor Michael Rex, who called Kirk a Nazi and deemed the conservative’s murder “karma.”

“This person should not be allowed within ten feet of university students - let alone allowed to instruct them,” Sen. Blackburn wrote.

Rex is facing disciplinary action, according to Nashville’s Fox 17 News.

Takeaway

Not all public school teachers are activists, but far too many are. I have family members who are teachers in public schools. They are deeply committed to educating our children. They are devout Christians. They are not activists. But they live their Christian lives publicly without fear.

They understand that they are teachers, not parents, to the kids in their classrooms.

However, the teachers' unions see the kids very differently.

Earlier this year, in June, Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) president Stacy Davis Gates said that “all children belong to the union."

At the City Club Chicago event, Gates bashed President Donald Trump for lessening the power of teachers’ unions, calling his education agenda a “relitigation” of the Civil War while complaining about the failing state of Chicago schools.

Quoting civil rights activist James Baldwin, Gates tells the crowd, “The children are always ours. Every single one of them, all over the globe.” Gates then mocks parents who would respond by saying, “CTU thinks your children are its children.”

“Yes, we do,” Gates said. “We do.”

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has ignited a new resolve. Millions of young adults have been shocked by the assassination of Kirk, and motivated by the brazen remarks about the assassination by school teachers and other leftists.

Quoting Charlie Kirk's widow: "They have no idea what their actions have unleashed."
