ICE Exposed as Cold-Blooded Killers?

Two suspects shot for “weaponizing” their vehicle against a Portland-based Border Patrol agent are affiliates of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

The revelation came this weekend after news emerged of a shooting involving U.S. immigration officials in Portland, Oregon. Initial reporting indicated that two individuals were shot in the incident.

Nothing more than that.

The biased reporting led the news media to do what they love to do: Expose ICE as cold-blooded killers.

A government agency that must be defunded, they say.

Once again, media bias was exposed when the light of truth was turned on.

Be informed, not misled.

ICE is not the cold-blooded group of people running around trying to ruin people's lives, as the media would have you believe they are.

They are men and women who have chosen to serve our country by enforcing existing laws that the Left is trying to erase from the culture.

They, under the leadership of a duly elected president, President Trump, are acting to right the lawlessness in our country and save us from self-destruction.

The resistance to their work is celebrated by uninformed Leftists.

Yesterday, thousands of uniformed people carried their expensive, well-designed signs and placards on the sidewalks of our country, including, of course, here on the West Coast, demonstrating not their commitment to the laws of the land, but to closing ICE and taking down Trump.

They hate both.

Once again, the news media misled the people.

The Federalist says, "When details of the case finally emerged, it clearly was not what Democrats — who had already rushed to falsely blame the immigration officials — were expecting.

According to DHS, Border Patrol officials were conducting a “targeted vehicle stop” in Portland. The agency said that upon identifying themselves to the driver and passenger, “the driver weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over the law enforcement agents.”

When details of the case finally emerged, it clearly was not what Democrats — who had already rushed to falsely blame the immigration officials — were expecting.

According to DHS, Border Patrol officials were conducting a “targeted vehicle stop” in Portland. The agency said that upon identifying themselves to the driver and passenger, “the driver weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over the law enforcement agents.”

The aggressive maneuver reportedly prompted an agent — who DHS said “fear[ed] for his life and safety” — to open fire on the vehicle. The driver then allegedly “drove off with the passenger, fleeing the scene.”

So, who are these people?

If you believe the "journalists," they are people who were accosted by ICE.

But when the light is turned on, Truth emerges.

The Federalist says, "DHS further revealed that the two suspects — later identified as Luis David Nico Moncada (driver) and Yorlenys Betzabeth Zambrano-Contreras (passenger) — are Venezuelan nationals released into the United States by the Biden administration and associated with the transnational gang Tren de Aragua. While Moncada is a suspected Tren de Aragua member who has a final order for removal and was 'arrested for DUI and unauthorized use of a vehicle,' Zambrano-Contreras 'played an active role in a Tren de Aragua prostitution ring and was involved with a prior shooting in Portland.'”

Both suspects have since been hospitalized and will be taken into federal custody upon release, DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin confirmed on Friday.

Also via The Federalist:

The incident came a day after another apparent attack on U.S. immigration officials in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

While conducting immigration enforcement in the city, a woman used her vehicle to interfere with such operations. After refusing to comply with ICE agents, the suspect then accelerated her car toward (and hit) an agent, prompting him to fire on her in self-defense. The woman — who has since been identified as an anti-ICE activist — died as a result.

The Washington Post. A profile of deception.

Many newspapers and local TV stations ran with a story on this incident that reflects the reporting of The Washington Post.

Splattered across the top of the outlet’s homepage on Thursday was an ”analysis” titled, “Video shows ICE agent in Minneapolis fired at driver as vehicle veered past him.” (An earlier version of the article had the headline, “ICE agent was not in the vehicle’s path when he fired at driver, video shows.”)

Right from the get-go, it’s clear that make-pretend “reporters” Aaron Davis and Jonathan Baran aren’t trying to inform their audience of what actually happened but are instead seeking to advance the Democrat Party’s anti-ICE agenda.

Upon navigating the Orwellian article, readers are immediately bombarded with the presumption that the Trump administration’s central (and well-documented) claim — that the now-deceased woman disobeyed ICE and then hit an agent with her car — is false. In typical legacy media fashion, Davis and Baran play up such framing by asserting that their “frame-by-frame analysis “raises questions about the administration’s account of the incident.

“The SUV did move toward the ICE agent as he stood in front of it. But the agent was able to move out of the way and fire at least two of three shots from the side of the vehicle as it veered past him, according to the analysis,” the propaganda-style article reads.

The authors then take readers on a trip through different video frames of the moment in question, in which they even call into question the documented fact that the agent was hit by the suspect’s vehicle. With little hesitation, they write, “Videos examined by The Post, including one shared on Truth Social by Trump, do not clearly show whether the agent is struck or how close the front of the vehicle comes to striking him.”

It doesn’t take much searching online to find video footage of the incident, definitively showing that the agent who fired the shots was, in fact, hit by the suspect with her car. And not just side-swiped either. It was a head-on collision that could’ve severely injured or killed him.

But according to Davis and Baran, this is simply all speculation. “No need to rush to judgment until the fraud-plagued Minnesota authorities can tell us what really happened,” or so the mindless media thinking goes.

Takeaway

The agent who was hit by the car was hit by another car driven by an illegal just a month ago, and was dragged nearly a hundred yards.

His wounds are still visible.

The Bible says lawlessness (iniquity, rebellion against God's law) leads to cold hearts, great tribulation, deception, and ultimate destruction by Jesus, culminating in eternal punishment for those who are "well pleased in unrighteousness" (Matthew 24:12, 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10, Revelation 19:20). The "Man of Lawlessness" (Antichrist) will emerge from this, deceiving many, but will be destroyed by Christ's return, bringing judgment on those who reject God's truth and delight in evil.

To be lawless is to be contrary to the law or to act without regard to the law. Laws are necessary in a sinful world (1 Timothy 1:9), and those who choose to act lawlessly further sin in the world. The word for “lawlessness” in the Bible is often translated “iniquity.” According to the Bible, the root of all lawlessness is rebellion.

The Apostle John tells us that the spirit of deception and rebellion is already among us.

First John 3:4 defines sin as lawlessness: “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.” To commit sin is to be lawless; that is, the sinner breaks God’s law. In this way, lawlessness is a rejection of God. Satan, who models the ultimate rejection of God, will one day empower the Antichrist, called “the lawless one,” whose rise to power “will be in accordance with how Satan works” (2 Thessalonians 2:9).

The reality is that Davis and Baran are journalists in the same way that Richard Levine is a woman. Both parties are living in a fantasy land where lies hold dominion over truth, and playing dress-up is more fun than living in the real world.
