"We Can Take Over This Country"

Rep. Gene Wu, a Democrat, said out loud what the Left is thinking: "Non-whites share the same oppressor, and we are the majority now. We can take over this country."

Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed defeated Mike Rogers in Michigan's U.S. Senate race Tuesday, becoming the first Muslim elected to the United States Senate.

During his victory speech, the Democrat senator-elect made it clear whom he thought won the election.

Be informed, not misled.

El-Sayed said that his people had won the election in America.

He used Arabic religious expressions, including Inshallah, meaning "God willing," and Alhamdulillah, meaning "Praise be to God." The crowd applauded enthusiastically.

El-Sayed grinned smugly throughout the speech. And why not? He has successfully infiltrated the “liberal” Democrat Party and brought his Islamist extremism with him.

He received overwhelming support in Dearborn, Michigan, which has a large Arab and Muslim population.

According to a November 4 report from The Detroit News, unofficial election results showed 82 percent of Dearborn voters backed El-Sayed, compared with 17 percent for Rogers.

That’s a Bashar al-Assad level of support. The newspaper reported that voters in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, and Hamtramck, communities with large Muslim populations, turned out in support of El-Sayed.

The chilling thing about all of this is that the Democrat Party is successfully balkanizing America into foreigner-led communities (or communities led by the children of immigrants) whose loyalties are  tribalistic, not patriotic, toward America.

What were the Jews thinking?

But there is another thing that is absolutely baffling about this election. Jewish voters even rubber-stamped this Democrat candidate, despite his documented ties to Islamist extremists like Hasan Piker.

According to The Forward, a Mercury Public Affairs survey of 482 Jewish voters conducted October 25–31 found:

  • 60% supported El-Sayed.
  • 36% supported Rogers.
  • Among Michigan Jewish early voters, Abdul El-Sayed underperformed other Democrats by more than 20 points (57% vs. 78% for Jocelyn Benson), with a sizable share splitting their tickets to vote for Republican Mike Rogers while supporting Benson. Interestingly, 92 percent of surveyed Jewish Democrats who rejected El-Sayed cited his positions on Israel and concerns about antisemitism as major reasons.
  • Were the Jewish voters simply not aware of his antisemitic views? This is like a flock of sheep voting for a wolf for mayor. Dumbfounding.

The controversy also prompted his former Democrat primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens, to endorse Rogers shortly before Election Day. It turns out that wasn’t enough to ward off Democrat voters.

Tribal loyalties override appeals to reason.

But the danger is that the American right starts retaliating with its own version of identity politics.

Rather than retaliating, Americans must return to our roots: A belief that God is with those who serve Him. And honor His Truth.

What we are experiencing is people like James Talarico, who has blasphemed God with his so-called woke theology, while others are introducing "new" gods into our culture and now, our government.

Founding Father and second President John Adams was not merely suggesting — he was warning us all when he said our Constitution was created only for a moral and religious people, promising it would fail like a net when a whale goes through it if we turned from our founding principles and beliefs.

Takeaway

Eric Metaxas wrote a great post yesterday on X.

Everyone blaming Trump is missing the point and should be ashamed of themselves. He is our leader against the forces of madness -- and a large part of why we lost last night is because of lunatics like Tucker and MTG and Massie who tried to peel away his followers, as if THEY had better solutions.

They are like Horatio Gates and Charles Lee who backstabbed Washington when things looked bad in late 1776. They refused to help him, hoping he would lose so that they could rise.

THEY FAILED. And were ultimately humiliated.

In the meantime, Washington and his men suffered bitterly but fought on and on, praying that God would be with them, knowing that He was their only hope, because it was His battle and His cause, and they were obliged to fight on in that cause, knowing the ultimate results were in His hands.

Samuel Adams and John Adams and many others never lost faith in the Sacred Cause and KNEW that if they fought on and prayed, God would be with them.

The United States did not come into the world because of people who were mostly concerned about gas prices. It came into the world because patriots loved liberty more than their own lives, who were willing to do the right thing and trust God with the results.

Many sat on the fence as Washington and his troops suffered -- and many opposed him openly. We have many like that today, but in the end God needs His Gideons ' 300 to fight on and do what is right.

Are you part of that 300? Jesus is always and ever our only hope, and He calls us to fight for what is right as we look to Him. Just because things look bad now doesn't mean God has abandoned us. If you care more about gas prices than liberty and truth and justice, you're part of the problem.

May this dark moment drive us to our knees in repentance and prayer to the One Who is our only hope, Who is the Author of Truth and Liberty -- and America.

And may it lead us to political and cultural actions that restore our nation to the liberty we have lost. God has chosen President Trump for this hour. Pray for the nation and trust God to lead us on.

Tony Perkins posted this, quoting Michele Bachmann: "These races may have been teeing up, from a sovereign God's point of view, for what's to come down the road."

After this election, "We've got to examine ourselves as a church, and this may set us up in a different way for revival in this nation."

"I trust in the Lord."
