VP Biden: "Gay Rights Trumps Culture And Traditions"

Abandoning the Judeo-Christian values upon which the country he purports to serve was founded, VP Biden told his audience this week "I don't care what your culture is," adding that supporting the homosexual cause is a "defining mark of a civilized nation."

White House National Security Advisor Susan Rice---yes, that Susan Rice who used to work for Sec. of State Hillary Clinton and repeatedly lied to the American people about Benghazi said, "We must amplify the message...that gay rights are straight up humans rights" and must "open more minds."

Both Biden and Rice were advocating---demanding the advancement of the homosexual agenda worldwide.

Now heads of governments are trying to defend themselves from this attack on their own national values.

It is true these are "defining times" and how America ultimately responds to the enduring, eternal Judeo-Christian values upon which this country was founded will indeed be a "defining mark."

As America pushes perversion...many leaders are pushing back on what was once a city on a hill---a light in the darkness.


The Associated Press reported this week that Biden declared that the homosexual agenda "must trump national cultures and traditions."

They quoted Biden saying, "All across US government agencies, officials have been instructed to make the promotion of gay rights a broad a priority."

AP is also reporting that "during his trip to Africa last year, Obama, while in Senegal, urged African leaders to extend equal rights to gays and lesbians. Senegal's president, however, pushed back...and said 'no'."

Senegal is not the only country pushing back, there are over 80 countries whose laws reflect the belief that homosexual behavior is wrong and is destructive to an individual and a culture.

This past February, President Obama urged Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni not to sign a bill that criminalized homosexual behavior.

Our President said, "It will mark a serious set back for all those around the world who share a commitment to freedom, justice and equal rights." The Ugandan president did not heed the call of our president.

Across the border in Kenya, where Barack Obama's father's tribe lives, Christian leaders are taking a very strong stand against the US President and his conquest.

The Washington Post reports that Kenyan Bishop Arthur Gitonga of the Redeemed Church in
Kenya recently led a convention for pastors to discuss the pressing issues facing the church and the culture.

Obama's insistence to remake their culture was a lead topic of discussion.

Gitonga and others told the press the homosexual agenda that the US is pushing is "equivalent to colonialism and slavery."

They also said, "We feel like it is a weapon of mass destruction," and "It is not biblical and cannot bring blessings to Christians."

Once characterized as a "City on a Hill," a "light in the darkness," that proclaimed liberty and freedom while advancing biblical morality, under present leadership we are now known as the country that advances a sexual behavior that every major world religion has condemned.

And our US leadership claims the homosexual agenda is more important than traditional biblical values.

A moment of reflection should cause all of us to ask ourselves what kind of "mark" are we leaving for the next generation? How will our children and grandchildren remember us and our times?

Vice President Biden says advancing the homosexual agenda is an important "defining mark."

Indeed it is, but what does it define?

Some years ago I read a poem that I have never forgotten. The author is unknown.

Isn't it strange that princes and kings, and clowns that caper in sawdust rings, and ordinary people like you and me,

Are building toward eternity.

To each is given a bag of tools, a shapeless mass, a book of rules;

And each shall build ere his life has flown, a stumbling block or a stepping stone."

Each of us make a defining mark as a result of our beliefs and actions, or as a result of our inaction or apathy.

These are defining times. Our response to these times will be our defining mark.

Will your life be a "stepping stone" to goodness and biblical values?Or will it be a stumbling block?

And what about the legacy and heritage of our nation? What will we leave for our children and grandchildren?
