Hillary: "We Must Change Cultural Codes And Religious Beliefs"

Speaking at the "Women in the World" conference, Hillary Clinton told the audience "deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases" must be changed.

After thundering applause, Ms. Clinton assured the women that until this happens "they will not have full access to reproduction health care"---which is code for more abortions.

It's interesting that secular progressives are finally removing the mask, and saying it out loud in public: "Achieving the secular progressive agenda will necessarily require first extirpating many 'deep seated' Christian values and beliefs from the cultural."

The preamble to this was Barack Obama's 2008 promise to "Fundamentally Transform America."

"And," Hillary said, these rights must "have to exist in practice---not just on paper."

This transformation must have teeth, with the ability to bite those who dissent.

Hillary told the women every woman must become a "Champion for Change."

This is not merely "Hillary's Song" and "Obama's Oratorio," there is a chorus of voices on the same tune.

Including several of the Supreme Court Justices who are today hearing arguments as to how marriage is to be defined in America.

Hillary told the audience, "It's a good time to be a woman"---become a "Champion for Change."

Among the Supreme Court Justices, who are hearing the case on marriage today, are at least two women who have already become "champions for change."

Justices Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Elena Kagan have both officiated at same-sex "marriage" ceremonies in the past---but have refused to recuse themselves from the case regardless of their conflict of interest.

At least 2 additional Justices have likely already decided what they believe about marriage. And religious freedom.

"Champion for Change" is not merely Hillary's Song or Obama's Oratorio, and several Court Justices, but the press is in the choir loft as well.

Frank Burni, in the New York Times earlier this month, said, "So-called religious freedom laws...portray homosexuality and devout Christianity as forces in fierce collision."

"They are not," he says, "because homosexuality and Christianity don't have to be in conflict in any church anywhere."

How so?

By understanding that some churches choose to "prioritize scattered passages of ancient texts over all that has been learned" by advances in scientific knowledge.

Clearly the Bible is outdated in the mind of the 2015 secular progressive class.

He says we must also further understand that "all writings reflect the biases of blind spots of their authors, cultures, and eras."

The Bible has never been "accurate" in the mind's of secular progressives anyway. This is a repeat of a very old deception..."Has God indeed said you shall not eat of every tree in the garden?"---"You will not surely die."

Burni says, "Beliefs ossified over centuries aren't easily shaken."

"Ossification" is the process of hardening, such as when tissue hardens to become bone-like---inflexible.

I pray millions of Christians will come out of their closets and not only have their beliefs on paper, but in their hearts, and in their practice and in their actions as well, and the hardening process will take place in their spine.

To deny the validity of God's Word is to call God a liar.

Today the Supreme Court of the United States will hear arguments about the constitutional right for same-sex couples to "marry," or can states continue to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman?

They will also consider: Even if states won't allow same sex "marriage, must they recognize valid same-sex "marriages" from elsewhere?

Marriage will never be truly redefined by any human decision, but a decision to extirpate, or uproot what God has established, is a destructive path.

Cal Thomas, the most widely syndicated columnist in the country, wrote a column yesterday titled, "Another Sign Post On The Road To Destruction".

His column notes the two-hour long ABC special with Diane Sawyers' interview with champion athlete Bruce Jenner and his sex change. Bruce say he has always felt he was a woman in a man's body.

Cal's column begins with this: "When future historians analyze the decline of America they need look no further than the trivialities increasingly occupying our time and concerns instead of substantive matters seriously threatening our existence."

He says we Americans are constantly "feeding our lower nature" and have a "fixation on what not long ago was regarded as bizarre, even perverted..."

He's right. And only a spiritual renewal can change the direction of our culture.

Spiritual renewal can and does happen.

In spite of the moral free fall we are presently seeing, I believe an awakening is coming.

Persecution of Christians most always brings renewal---personally and spiritually.

Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Strong. Be Prayerful. Be Prepared for Renewal.
