Ellen DeGeneres' Assault on Kids

Lesbian Ellen DeGeneres has teamed up with Kids Gap to create a line of clothing for kids that are gender neutral.

Ellen says the kid's clothing line gives kids an opportunity to "express their authentic identities."

Target announced yesterday they are removing "gender based labeling."

They say it will "reduce confusion."

And will help "strike a better balance."

CNN is reporting that Target is doing the right thing because "putting 'boy' and 'girl' labels on toys sends the wrong message that something is intended for one group and not the other."

Toy makers disagree. They say girls want to play with certain toys and boys want to play with certain toys.

Maybe it's not really about toys, or shopping convenience. Or even sales.

Ellen says, "When I was growing up I didn't have a lot of choices, as most kids don't." She says she was forced to wear dresses, pinks and a lot of "girly" things because her mother made her wear them.

She says she remembers appeasing her parents, but apparently now is enlightened to the point that she sees the wisdom of leading kids to not please their parents.

Sadly, some in retail are following.

Her Gap Kids clothing line will be in Gap Kids August 18. She says it's all about "self expression."

Ellen's social agenda was so harmful to JC Penny that only months after making her the face of the store chain, Penny's had to remove her. It cost them hundreds of millions of dollars in lost sales. She does not represent most families in America.

Target announced yesterday they will be removing "gender-based labeling."

Target says guests (customers) have told them gender based labeling is confusing and unnecessary.

They are saying, "We never want guests or their families to feel frustrated or limited by the way things are presented."

Clearly that statement is either a misleading lie, or they are terribly uninformed.

Christian families that conservatively represent a third to a half of the population will feel "frustrated" when they discover what Target is up to.

In fact customers are already expressing disappointment on Facebook. A John Wilson wrote: "This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. A boy is a boy and a girl is a girl...products are made specifically for each."

Sorry John, not in the enlightened world of the homosexual activist progressive world.

"Gender Identity" is the new Golden Calf. I sincerely hope millions of Christians, conservatives and otherwise normal people refuse to bow down by avoiding Target and Kids Gap.

Amy Severtsen Stanwood, a target spokeswoman---I mean "person," must be feeling the push back.

She is explaining to the media, "Target is not saying that genders don't exist. They are simply recognizing that toys and bedding do not have genders."

Yes, but children do.

Target and Kids Gap may be so out of touch with reality---however I doubt that, they really are unaware of the intense campaign to normalize sexual and gender confusion. And advance it.

Stanwood says, "Mingling superhero action figures with other dolls isn't going to cause children to suddenly question who/what they are."

Perhaps, but this is an enormously helpful step toward indoctrinating children. And capitalizing on the confusion of small children.

CNN reports that the idea for Target to move toward "genderless labeling" grew out of emails like the one from Abi Bechtel.

Bechtel took a picture of gender labeling in a Target store and sent it to Target saying, "Don't do this, Target." She said marketing toys by gender is "regressive and harmful."

Clearly hers was a social, not shopping concern.

Toy makers are not so sure this is the right business model.

Toy industry spokesperson Adrienne Appell says customer demand is the very reason toys are often identified by gender. She says, "They're categorized in a way that's easier for the general population to find."

Retail experts say removing gender based labeling is not good merchandising because people buying toys or children's products sort by brand, age and gender.

Social engineering "experts" are elated with this "progress." Carrie Goldman, author of "Bullied: What Every Parent, Teacher and Kid Needs To Know About," sees this as a big win.

Far left progressive Goldman says, "Kids visiting Target will no longer have to consider their gender while shopping."

That is not true. This and Ellen's new clothing line does the opposite, it intensifies confusion among children when they are least able to cope with it.

Enter public education. Gender related teaching materials created and provided by a number of homosexual activist groups are waiting in the classroom as your child returns in a few weeks.

Dr. Paul McHugh, former psychiatrist in chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital, says, "The transgendered suffer a disorder of 'assumption' like those in other disorders familiar to psychiatrists. With the transgendered, the disordered assumption is that the individual differs from what seems given in nature---namely one's maleness and femaleness. Other kinds of of disordered assumptions are held by those who suffer from anorexia and bulimia nervosa, where the assumption that departs from physical reality is the belief by the dangerously thin that they are overweight."

He says, "You won't hear it from those championing transgender equality, but controlled and follow-up studies reveal fundamental problems with this movement. When children who reported transgender feelings were tracked without medical or surgical treatment at both Vanderbilt University and London's Portman Clinic, 70%-80% of them spontaneously lost those feelings..."

He also describes the history of treatment for transgendered at John Hopkins University. It is revealing.

According to McHugh and other experts, those who are driving the transgender movement are working against proven science.

I believe they are pushing an agenda. I believe it is predatory and calculated by activists. Target, Gap Kids and others may or may not understand what is happening, but they are at best being used, at worst acting as facilitators.

The message of Moses to Target, Ellen and Gap Kids would be, "Let my children go."

The message of Jesus to families would be, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God" (Luke 18:16).
