Hillary Clinton: Too Big To Jail

Yesterday Ben Shapiro wrote: "On Monday, America celebrated the 240th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, which condemned King George III for '(obstructing) the Administration of Justice.' On Tuesday, the American left celebrated as the federal government obstructed the administration of justice on behalf of one of its ruling families, the Clintons."

I mentioned yesterday that last week, A/G Lynch met secretly with Bill Clinton.

Now we learn, 3 days later, the New York Times is reporting Hillary may offer A/G Lynch a position in her administration.

Over the 4th of July weekend, Obama abruptly announced that Hillary was flying with him on Air Force One to campaign in NC. Taxpayers paid for the travel.

FBI Director Comey will meet with members of Congress to answer more than a few questions. Possibly as soon as today.

Last night, Associated Press reported that Attorney General Loretta Lynch declared the Hillary Clinton email case closed. There will be no charges.

Ben Shapiro, himself a lawyer, writes, "But Clinton is a member of the Royal Family. Thus, said Comey, she was innocent."

There are indeed similarities between the grievances expressed by our Founding Fathers with the King of England and today's circumstances.

If you have not recently read the Declaration of Independence, or perhaps have never read it, I strongly recommend you take a couple of minutes and do so. Particularly notice the clearly stated list of grievances.

Shapiro says, "Comey tried to say the law doesn't (SET ITAL) require (END ITAL) intent; it requires merely 'gross negligence' under 18 U.S.C. 793. In fact, even the level of intent required to charge under statutes like 18 U.S.C. 1924 and 18 U.S.C. 798 was clearly met: the intent to place classified information in a nonapproved, non classified place."

"Nonetheless," Shapiro says, "Clinton would be allowed to roam free---become president...One rule for the peons, one for the potentates."

He says, "This is the Wilsonian legacy, finally achieved after a century of waiting: the Big Man (or Woman), unanswerable to the law, approved by the population without regard to equality under the law. Now we elect dictators. And they are unanswerable to us---except, presumably, once every four years. The common folk, on the other hand, find themselves on the wrong side of the government gun every day."

"Tyranny doesn't start with jackboots," Shapiro says, "It begins with a notion that a different law applies to the powerful than to the powerless. Under Barack Obama, tyranny has become a way of life."

He concludes with this---"Ronald Reagan always said that freedom was one generation away from extinction. It looks like we've finally found that generation."

I sense a tone of almost inevitability---A lingering question of what to do when the foundations of a nation that was founded upon the rule of law, are destroyed.

The LA Times is reporting that Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is saying the "FBI's recommendation not to prosecute Hillary Clinton's emails 'defies explanation' ---but he suggested House Republicans may purse additional investigations into the matter."

The Times also reports that Ryan called former President Bill Clinton's meeting with US A/G Loretta Lynch "absolutely inappropriate."

He says, "We're taking a look at this a little more deeply."

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Bakersfield) said "this is very troubling," and "there's a lot of questions that are raised by all this."

America's 240th Birthday celebration has not turned out to be stellar for biblical Christians and conservatives and patriots. And people who still recognize the value of law. While millions of us celebrated the birth of the most free, blessed nation in the history of the world, others trampled its foundations in the pursuit of personal ambition.

Some are calling this 4th of July episode "Slick Hillie--The Slick Willie Sequel."

I suspect there will be a lot of elected voices condemning the FBI recommendation---getting themselves on the record so they can tell the folks back home, come election time, they did everything they could to "change Washington." There will be the wringing of hands and beating of the chest---and maybe a hearing or 2---but in the end, Hillary will strut and run for the highest office in the land.

Unless.

Unless God intervenes in the course of human events.

Today on our live radio program, I'm talking about some of the miracles that occurred in the formation of this great nation, and how God did, in fact, intervene in the course of human events.

And how He still intervenes in the life of a nation and an individual.

Please join me live at 9 AM PDT from anywhere in the world---on the air, on your computer or on your phone. Here's how.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts."

God is "thinking and doing." Everything is under control--- His control, not ours.

Relax.

Stand Firm in the faith.

Be Prayerful. Be Blessed.
