The University of Montana's "June" Eastwood has been named "Female Athlete of the Week" for the Big Sky Conference.

"June" Eastman is also still listed on the university's athletic website as "Jonathan" Eastwood in 2017.

The same people who demand equality for all---are upset, claiming this isn't fair.

Some thoughts on rebelling against our Creator.

Be informed.

A biological male runner who identifies as a female was named the Big Sky Conference women's cross country athlete of the week.

Yes, many are crying foul. They're upset, because "it isn't fair."

When "Jonathan" became "June."

Last year Eastwood was known as Jonathan Eastwood. He competed on the Montana men's cross country and track teams. Eastwood finished 7th in May 2018 in the men's 1500 meter run at the conference's outdoor championship.

In fact, Jonathan's pictures are still up on the university's athletic website.

According to KULR-TV in Billings, Montana, Eastwood won multiple state titles as a male in high school.

Now "June" Eastwood is winning again and being honored as the best "female" athlete.

Under NCAA rules governing transgender athletes, Eastwood was required to sit out one year and undergo testosterone suppression treatments for 12 months in order to compete as a female.

Eastwood told KULR, "I thought the rules would be a little more strict and less vague."

The so-called "trans" movement is very vague because they are breaking all the rules.

Martina Navratilova: "It's unfair"

One of the most well known lesbian professional tennis players and activists wants it both ways.

After advocating---demanding "equality" in all such things, Navratilova now says,
"The rules on trans athletes reward cheats and punish the innocent." She says "Letting men compete as women simply if they change their name and take hormones is unfair---no matter how those athletes may throw their weight around."

She says men and women are different.

"Simply reducing hormone levels...does not solve the problem," she says. "A man builds up muscle and bone density, as well as a greater number of oxygen-carrying red blood cells, from childhood."

She says, "If a male were to change gender in such a way as to eliminate any accumulated advantage, he would have to begin hormone treatment before puberty, For me, that is unthinkable."

That's the point. It should be "unthinkable"---but it's not. And it is "unfair."

"We are manufacturing transgender kids"

At a conference held earlier this year, the Heritage Foundation's Ryan T. Anderson moderated a panel of doctors and social workers who were or in some cases had been pulled into the so-called "transgender" awakening movement.

I would recommend you read the article, particularly if you have this issue in your family or with close friends.

A man who once lived as a transgender woman warned about the "experts" who encourage children to be unhappy with their sex at birth.

Walt Hayer said,
"We are manufacturing transgender kids. We are manufacturing their depression, their anxiety, and [have] turned it into a huge industry that people are profiting from after kid's lives are completely torn apart."

Another participant noted that "Parents are doing everything they can to help their kids lead healthy, happy and fulfilled lives, yet when parents seek out experts for help, they receive a one-size-fits-all narrative that has no basis in science, common sense, or compassion."

A biblical perspective on transgenderism.

A few lines in this article would not be sufficient to cover a systematic biblical study of transgenderism as it relates to biblical teaching.

Several evangelical denominations have exhaustively addressed the issue for pastors who are dealing with individuals caught in the web of deception.

One of the most exhaustive I've seen is a paper written by the Assemblies of God organization for pastors.

The Southern Baptist Convention has also published their position on transgender identity.

A myth like no other.

Male and female are not what we feel we are, but what we actually are. Help your kids sort out the truth from fiction regarding transgenderism because transgenderism doesn't physically exist.

Focus on the Family has written an excellent article on the subject specifically directed to parents---from a biblical perspective.

Transgenderism, they say, "is a belief system, an ideology with no basis in reality."

They strongly encourage parents to help their kids see through the madness of it. Yes, kids are told they are "transgender", but it's a myth.

Focus says transgenderism is a myth like no other:

Children understand the basic science of sex without much trouble. It is one of the most universal and objective facts that humanity (and much of the animal kingdom) is created male and female. Penises and vaginas correspond with XY and XX chromosomes that exist in every bit of DNA in our bodies. Yes, there are intersexed people, an extremely small percentage of individuals born with ambiguous genitalia or chromosomes. These few cases don’t represent a different kind of sex or gender, but an unfortunate malformed body.
Male and female — it’s really that simple. Science knows of no other models of humanity. Thus, the transgender trend is not rooted in any kind of objective science or medical reality.

It's male and female.

Being "transgender" is at odds with science and God's design. Male and female are not what we feel we are, but what we actually are. Every cell in our bodies is marked with either male or female. Our very bodies demonstrate Scripture's account of our creation, first described in Genesis 1:26-27 and later affirmed by Jesus in the Gospel.
