School Board Now Pressuring FCA Out Of High School

As American Christians are still trying to shake off the stunning revelation that Chick-fil-A has capitulated to homosexual activists, we're learning that a high school board is pressuring the local Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) to disassociate with the national organization because of their "bigotry"---or else.

Be informed.

The "concern."

NBC Montana (KCEI TV) is reporting that a group of students at Bozeman High School are expressing their concerns "of possible discrimination" to the high school administration over the school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club.

The concerned say they "don't have a problem with a Christian athletes club on campus---we all think it's a good idea for kids to meet on those grounds--- just their connection to the national organization was something that concerned us."

Translated: "We don't mind having the Christians on campus, we just won't tolerate their biblical beliefs."

You already know which beliefs are causing "concern."

The concerned citizens explain their concern as having to do with the FCA's Statement of Faith published on their web page which reads:
"God instituted marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe marriage is exclusively the union of one man and one woman."

That's the same belief that Chick-fil-A espoused until this week when they capitulated to homosexual activists who have been relentless in their attempt to disrupt and close their stores. Chick-fil-A announced this week they will not be donating to organizations like FCA, The Salvation Army and others who hold these beliefs biblical beliefs.

I wrote about Chick-fil-A yesterday. If you have not read it, please do.

The group of concerned girl student citizens are also taken back by the FCA's statement on abstinence until marriage---which also excludes homosexual relations. They call it their "Purity Pledge."

The school district's response.

In 2008 the school district voted to "add sexual orientation" to its anti-discrimination policy.

Bob Connors, the Bozeman Schools Superintendent, said at the time:
"Young adulthood is a time when you have a lot of questions about yourself, and it's not the school district's place to judge one way or the other, because right and wrong isn't the issue."

He said, "We want to make sure its an inclusive place where every student is treated the same..."

That may be his personal ideal, but I can promise it's not the practice of any public school in the country.

If schools are moral neutral---as most all of them claim--why are thousands of dollars spent, and thousands of hours used to indoctrinate students from K through college on human sexuality using curriculum created by homosexual activist organizations---often using representatives from those homosexual activist organizations?

Why do we continue to hear of "drag queens" hosting reading groups at the library? Or activist teachers introducing 4 and 5-year-old kids to the notion of "transgenderism?"

The plan is not to be "inclusive," it's to be exclusive to a secular progressive agenda. Public school environments are only "safe" and "inclusive" to those who go along with the moral and cultural plan.

Mr. Connors, it is about "right and wrong"---the question is who decides what is right and what is wrong?

Why does Planned Parenthood have almost unrestricted access to the classroom and our kids in every grade level? We all know it because of their powerful lobby and most, not all, but most government-run school administrators and teachers have bought into the progressive lie. Because they, themselves have been "educated" by the same secular, so-called moral neutral lesson plan.

Public school is no longer inclusive to Christians and their biblical beliefs.

So what "inclusive, fair, equality certified" conclusion has the Bozeman school board come to?

The board says, "We want to be sure it's an inclusive place---the inclusion factor is very important to us," therefore,

"The school district has given the Bozeman High FCA two options---disassociate from the national organization, change their name and follow the school district's policy on inclusion or remain with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes but no longer be recognized as a school club."

This is what "inclusion" and "equality" and "fairness" and religious freedom looks like to the homosexual activists and a browbeaten public school board.

Frankly, if you are floating along in the notion that "Christians should not get involved in politics" or some form of the myth, it's time to wake up. Be informed and be bold.

If biblical Christians do not speak truth to the culture---who will?

Are we not called by Jesus Himself --"salt and light?"

The takeaway.

Chick-fil-A may be having buyers' remorse. Today they appear to be trying to wiggle out of the biggest mistake ever made in the history of the $6 billion company. I don't think millions of evangelicals "misunderstood" Chick's press release this week. And I doubt they can put the "feathers back in the pillow," as they say.

As for the Bozeman High FCA? These kids have never been accused of any acts of discrimination or inappropriate actions--until know. And it's about what they believe, not what they do.

The Christian law firm Alliance Defending Freedom has offered to step in and represent the Christian athletes.

Homosexual activists never stop. They always demand more. They really don't want "equality," they really seek affirmation and celebration of their chosen lifestyle.

Unfortunately, people are either capitulating to them as Chick-fil-A, growing silent, as too many Christian pastors have, or simply come to believe in a new normal---"things have changed."

These kids have decided to take a stand. What are you going to do?

With candidate Pete Buttigieg soaring in the polls, Yahoo news published this headline yesterday:
