Killing Born Babies: Democrats Unanimous

In a stunning act, Senate Democrats blocked a request this week by Republicans to vote on a bill that would stop infanticide and provide medical care and treatment for babies who are born alive after botched abortions.

Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America says, "Planned Parenthood and abortion extremists' death grip have once again prevailed through the Democrat Party."

Elections have consequences. Let's get real.

Be informed.

Nance continued,
"Today they voted to turn their backs to protect babies who feel pain or are born alive from a failed abortion. It is unconscionable that Democrats stand on the side of authoritarian regimes like China and North Korea who condone the killing of unborn children until birth and leave unwanted newborns to die. Unfortunately, that is where our country's laws stand today."

Senator Ted Cruz said even the idea that this "would somehow be debatable, what to do with that child...is a remarkable statement of just how extreme and radical the pro-abortion side of this debate has gotten."

Here's what led to the Democrats taking these barbaric actions.

The Republicans had sponsored 2 pieces of legislation that would protect babies---born and unborn.

The "Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act" would have banned abortion past the fifth month of pregnancy. It was rejected 53-44.

"The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, would have required babies who survive abortion to be provided with the same medical care as any newborn of the same age born prematurely. It was rejected 56-41."

Both needed 60 votes to pass.

Republican Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska, who introduced the "Born-Alive" bill, challenged Democrat senators to go beyond the talking points provided them by Planned Parenthood in considering the bill.

They could not do it.

Why?

Sasse says,
"Because they don't want to have a real conversation about the actual legislation and the actual babies that we're considering today." Why? "Because they're scared to death of Planned Parenthood's army of lobbyists."

Hew reminded his colleagues that infanticide is already illegal, but this bill was trying to get to the fact that abortionists often walk away from born-babies leaving them to die, He said: "Every baby dies if you wander away from them and deny them care."

He said that this bill is about--"passive infanticide."

Republican Senator Lindsay Graham, who introduced the Pain-Capable bill, pleaded with the Democrats, "We would like to get out of a club of seven nations that allow abortion on demand at a time when parents are encouraged to sing to the child."

Those nations are Canada, China, Netherlands, North Korea, Singapore, and Viet Nam.

Graham asked his colleagues, "How does abortion on demand after the fifth month advance the cause of America?"

The Patty Murray's, Maria Cantwell's, Sinema's (AZ), and the rest of the Democrats don't care. If they did, they wouldn't vote against life. Every Democrat, with only a couple of exceptions, said "no" to preserving a baby who lies on a table alive because his or her abortion failed.

I should note that Democrat presidential candidates Klobuchar, Sanders, and Warren didn't vote, but all have promised 100% cooperation with Planned Parenthood and their killing fields.

Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council, said, "Refusing to support a measure that would provide life-saving care to an infant who survives an abortion and is born-alive, is condoning infanticide."

And he said,
"Continuing to allow this practice of either actively or passively allowing born-alive babies to die, as Virginia Governor Northam has advocated, is crossing the line from civilized to barbarous. The efforts in Congress to protect these babies should not stop, and voters have a moral duty to vote against those who condone infanticide."

Father Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life said this week, "You would think that those elected to public service would know the difference between serving the public and killing the public."

The moral duty.

A poll taken by McLaughlin & Associates, and sponsored by the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List last year, found that 77% of Americans support legislation that would ensure babies who survive abortion would be administered the same medical treatment as would any infant born prematurely at the same age.

That outcome included 75% of independent voters and 70% of Democrats.

Marist Polls have found that 7 in 10 Americans, including 47% of those who identify as "pro-choice," want significant restrictions on abortion.

There is a consensus of moral rejection of what elected Democrats did this week in the halls of power in the most powerful, blessed, free nation in the world.

I fully agree with Tony Perkins. "Voters have a moral duty to vote against those who condone infanticide."

Here's why. Forget the polls.

Exodus 20. God says: (v 13) "Thou shalt not kill."

To some of my Christian friends who have bought into the so-called "religious Left:

How do you reconcile spending your vote to elect people would even admit that it's morally wrong to leave born babies lying on a table until they die---done in the name of "women's health care?"

You know better than that. Standing behind the self-righteous excuse, "I can't vote for Trump because of his immoral life and behavior" doesn't remove the pain of conscience, when you vote for one of the bunch of Democrats who are all aligned with this so-called Christian progressive thinking. And the abortion industry.

If you allow your eyes to drop to verse 23, you note that God says to Moses---through the "thunderings, and the lightenings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking---'Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold'."

The so-called Christian progressive left is a "god made of gold or silver," fashioned into the image of the Jim Wallis', the Pete Buitigieg's, the Barack Obama's, the Hillary Clinton's, the Jim Bell's, the Mclaren's and all the rest---whether they are politicians or preachers--- that are advocating another gospel.

You and I both learned in Sunday School that Paul says, "from such turn away."

Why would we enable these people?

At this point in life, why would we not turn away from the false teaching, rather than turning away from the Bible's clear teaching?
