"Red November": Red For Trump Or Red For Socialism?

The Democrat Party is offering America a remade secular socialist country---featuring free healthcare (Medicare for All), free college, free passage across our borders, free jobs, free abortion on demand, and an environment free of fossil fuels (The New Green Deal).

Free everything, for nothing in return---paid for by taxing the rich.

Which path will America choose in November? Red for Trump. Or red as in socialism?

Be informed, not misled.

Jewish, Joel Pollack is Senior Editor at Large with Breitbart News.

One might ask, how did a good Jewish boy end up in a place like Breitbart?

The "Times of Israel" asked the same question back in 2017 when Joel became one of the leading conservative voices in American news.

In fact, Joel told the Times: "When you are brought up to believe that Republicans and conservatives are motivated by racism and greed, to say you are one of those people was not easy."

The feature story is worth reading. While Pollack does not claim to have embraced Christianity, he is a brilliant student of human affairs and American politics--- influenced by Judeo-Christian principles

His new book titled, "Red November"---published this week--- takes an honest, educated, and informed look at where our country is today. And more importantly which path we will choose in November.

I thought Biden was a "moderate."

Monday evening, Joe Biden held a digital fundraiser with former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett and 14 wealthy donors.

During the session, Biden emphasized the importance of women by quoting a phrase from a proclamation by Mao in mid 20th century China: "Women hold up half the sky."

While Mao initially did offer some rights to women, the phrase that was used in fliers posted in factories and political propaganda to get the women's support, Mao would, of course, become infamous, not for women's rights but for being one of the biggest mass murders in human history.

The fact that he quoted that slogan may not be an accident.

Anita Dunn, a current senior adviser to the Biden campaign---and former White House communications director for Obama and close friend to Jarrett---was asked while working in the White House who her two favorite political philosophers were. She responded: "Mao is one of the two people I turn to most, along with Mother Theresa."

She later said she was joking. She wasn't. And everybody knew it.

Everybody also knows that should Biden be elected President of the United States, he will be little more than a puppet directed by those around him because of his obvious cognitive issues.

The Democrats, you might think, would have learned that many in middle America, whom they claim to represent, rejected Hillary because they don't buy the ever leaning, further far-left beliefs of the Democrats.

Instead, the Party of the Left lurched even further Left---Forget about middle America. We know better than they do what they need and should want.

Even Joe Biden has rejected the "moderate" label, telling reporters that he was still a "liberal" in a changing party: "For my whole career I wish I had been labeled in Delaware, for the seven times I ran as a 'moderate'."

He laments that the definition of "progressive" has now changed to be "Are you a socialist?"

Obama himself set in motion the party's ideological shift.

Pollack paints a very clear picture where the policies of the Left always lead.

In his new book, Pollack uses examples of Venezuela or struggling South Africa, yet notes how young Americans are wanting more, not less of socialism.

Young Americans polled in 2014 said they didn't trust the government, but believed we need more, not less of it. By 2019, polls were finding that 61% of Americans ages 18 to 24 have a "positive" reaction to the word "socialism," while just 58% have a positive reaction to the word "capitalism."

College campuses have become increasingly dominated by the Left, as radical protesters from the 1960s have returned to teach and to lead our kids---shaping new generations in their image.

Youth are looking for a cause bigger than themselves, like the civil rights movement of their parent's era. They are looking for a cause of their own.

While Pollack, doesn't address this in his book, of course, as I have noted on our radio program, there is a growing, counter-effort on the part of this generation to present the gospel to their peers who are drowning in the uncertain seas of secular progressivism.

This is a recent story from the Los Angles Times which reports a spiritual revival that is happening on the sands of Huntington Beach in Southern California. Read it and rejoice.

Pollack also notes how other cultural changes have pulled the Democrats further and further to the Left.

The gay rights movement is driving much thinking among secular progressives. The homosexual movement first demanded acceptance and civil unions. Once achieved, they demanded "marriage" then pushed even harder to the Left demanding that gender could no longer be driven by biology. No lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) person could be free, it seems, until the old norms are completely overthrown.

Tolerance is no longer the goal: society itself must be transformed.

And therein is the goal of the Left. Obama hinted at the idea of completely "remaking" America. His party has now made it their banner for the 2020 election.

We face a turning point in the story of America. We will never be the same after the November election.

We will either repent and return to our founding principles, or we will formally rebel and reject those principles---and the God who instituted them.

I recommend you read Pollack's book because it is very informative, but with the understanding that it is not written from a biblical perspective, rather from a conservative perspective.

It is written, God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

That also would apply to a nation.

The coming election will sow the seeds for what the next generation will experience.
