Fox "Cancels" Lou Dobbs

Friday Fox announced Lou Dobbs was canceled. Suddenly, he was gone. And is not expected back on the air at Fox.

This is about much more than Lou Dobbs. It's much bigger than Lou Dobbs. Today it will be someone else.

Fox News is flailing around in the bottom of the cable news TV ratings, ratings they have led for nearly two decades.

But this is about more than Fox trying to fix their ratings, because Dobbs had the highest ratings of any business channel program.

My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell aired his two-hour special, "Absolute Truth", which exposes alleged election fraud on One American News Network this weekend.

Social media, YouTube, etc. pulled it down almost as fast as it was posted, but by Saturday over 10 million people had viewed it. I was one of the 10 million.

I have some personal thoughts about Lindell's special and the "cancel culture".

And a link to the Lindell's special if the link hasn't been canceled this morning.

Be informed, not misled.

The Los Angles Times first reported that Fox has canceled their program "Lou Dobbs Tonight" on Friday.

Dobbs was on the air. Then he wasn't. Another example of what has become known as the "cancel" culture. If those in power don't approve of what someone says...or even thinks, they "cancel" them. Whether it's the Bible, America's Founding Fathers, Abraham Lincoln, Columbus, any leader south of the Mason-Dixon, or a voice on television or radio... even a voice from a pulpit.

Dobbs is gone in a moment of time.

The LA Times first makes the case that Dobbs is 75 years old, a strong supporter of Donald Trump, a believer in the fact that there was fraud in the 2020 election and he "is not expected to be seen on any of Fox's programming in the future."

Yes, he is all of that. I've watched him often over the years.

President Trump issued a statement that said in part, "Lou Dobbs is and was great. Nobody loves America more than Lou."

I agree.

And Trump said, "He had a large and loyal following that will be watching closely for his next move, and that following includes me."

The LA Times also goes to great length to tell its readers that the Lou Dobbs program, which has consistently averaged about 300,000 viewers and is the highest-rated program on any "business channel," was under review before the lawsuit was filed against Fox last week by Smartmatic, the company that owns the software that is used on the Dominion Voting machines widely used in US voting.

All TV programs are always under review.

The suit filed by Smartmatic is a $2.7 billion defamation suit against Fox News and hosts Lou Dobbs, Jeanine Pirro, and Maria Bartiromo. It alleges that the company caused both financial and reputational damage.

Dominion Voting machines has also filed a suit against lawyers Rudy Guiliani and Sydney Powell for $1.3 billion over their voter fraud claims.

"Absolute Truth."

Mike Lindell, the "My Pillow" guy, a Christian conservative, and strong supporter of Trump has created a 2-hour special that details the alleged fraud in the 2020 election.

One America News Network (OANN) aired the special multiple times over the weekend. I watched it. All two hours of it.

As quickly as the special was posted to the internet it was "canceled" by social media and other sites, however, they are reporting that as of  Saturday, over 10 million people had viewed it.

This is a link to OANN. I'm not certain if they have posted the special on their website or not. It was not posted last night, but check it out for future airings.

You can also view and even download the video on Mike Lindell's website.

How the "cancel culture" is reshaping America, politically and spiritually.

This is about something bigger than Lou Dobbs or anyone else who has been, or is about to be "canceled" and silenced.

This past August, Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) laid out how the cancel culture began and how it is reshaping our country and our culture.

She said, "I've always said that our goals inform the paths we choose. You can tell a lot about a person or, a political movement---by how they choose to persuade the masses." Using a local Tennessee restaurant that was attacked by Black Lives Matter, she described the BLM movement as a group that is trying to extort compliance on anyone who disagrees with the BLM narrative.

She said the activists have a "stranglehold on free speech in America."

She also said, "The left wants you to know that all of this violence and unrest is on you. But if you fall in line, we will go away. If you comply with our demands, we will refrain from confiscating your livelihood."

Blackburn defined our current culture as an "America under siege by the Left's political mob, hell-bent on remaking the world's shining city on a hill in their own image. It's the very thing the Constitution is meant to  protect against."

Courtney Crowley, an instructor of History at West Texas A&M  University described the BLM
movement last summer, as one that "seeks to upend the most fundamental and sacred rights of Americans; a group that is working to topple the historical memory and core values of the United States; a group intent on eliminating liberty and corrupting the sacrosanct freedoms of expression and faith; a movement bankrolled by the establishment and corporate America that is intent on maligning and silencing entire swaths of America who disagree with their Marxist beliefs."

And she asked, can you believe "this group has now found easy acceptance and adulation in a country such as ours?"

Crowley denounces racism in all its forms but says BLM is not the solution, it's a big part of the problem.

She strongly recommends that we "need leaders who will work to address legitimate racial grievances in the country without genuflecting to the Marxist hordes."

The 6 months since she and Senator Blackburn assessed the culture, we have devolved to where when "leaders," including the President of the United States, take a stand for what is right and good and true, they are "canceled." If a news or public personality supports them, they too are "canceled."

If a historical person's legacy or beliefs disagree with their Marxist ideology, tear down their statue, remove their name from a local school: Cancel them. They never existed.

If anyone puts the light of Truth on a suspect election or a forgotten laptop in Delaware, or a threat to withhold US funding from Ukraine unless a certain government official investigator is fired---one who is investigating possible corruption involving a son of the Vice President of the United States (now president); or if the irregularities of a federal presidential election are so overwhelming it must be addressed---that person is "canceled." Gone. Never existed---in the mind of the far-left "cancel culture."

Crowley was making a sincere call for students and people everywhere to take a stand and "tenaciously defend our liberty and our faith."

The chaos in our culture was Trump's fault, so he was canceled.

Lindell is also making a sincere call for Americans to take an honest look at the integrity of our voting systems. The evidence of fraud presented by experts in their field and hard data makes it nearly impossible to honestly deny that our election was not manipulated.

Now Biden is president. The chaos continues.

Saturday, Black Lives Matter and Antifa teamed up once again to march through downtown Washington DC chanting, "Burn it down, Burn it down." And they tried.

About 26,000 troops have been sent to DC to protect the city from "Trump" and his people--it is said 5,000 will remain until at least March.

Trump is out, Biden is in. Nothing has changed. What is the answer?

John Adams, our second president, said on June 21, 1776:

"Statesmen, my dear Sir, may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand."

Without "Religion" he said referring to Christianity, "they may change their Rulers and the forms of Government, but they will not obtain a lasting liberty."

If the pulpits are silent, our liberty and freedom will be lost.
