Tacoma School Promoting Abortion W/O Parental Consent?

Earlier this month a flyer was sent home with Tacoma, Washington 8th graders telling 11-year-olds they could have sex, as long as the partner isn't older than 13.

The flyer also noted that the kids could get an abortion "at any age" and "do not need to get permission from a parent or guardian."

The flyer also told the kids they did not need parental consent to get birth control or HIV and STD testing.

There's more.

What's going on at Stewart Middle School in Tacoma?

Be informed, not misled.

The flyer

Parents in Tacoma, WA. were furious to find out that a teacher distributed a flyer to 8th graders outlining their rights to having an abortion without parental consent.

The students received the flyer during a science class.

It further tells the kids they can also receive birth control, condoms, HIV and STD testing.

Other disturbing details on the flyer emphasized that it is not a crime if you are:

  • 11 and have sex with someone 2 years older or less.
  • 12 to 13 and have sex with someone who is 3 years older or less.
  • 14 or 15 and have sex with someone who is 4 years older or less.

The flyer also encouraged sexting and advertised that condoms and emergency contraception could be obtained at any age.

As you can imagine, angry parents contacted the school's administrators after their 8th graders brought the flyer home from "science" class.

Angry parents contacted Tacoma Public Schools as well as Stewart Middle School asking for answers.

The answer seems to be as troubling as the flyer that was given to the kids.

The school's explanation.

Eric Hogan, assistant director of secondary education at Tacoma Pubic Schools wrote a letter saying the flyer was not intended to be sent home with the students and is not a part of the curriculum.

After an investigation Hogan said, "Previously, Planned Parenthood taught within our schools and supplied the flyer which was distributed to students. We discovered a binder of curriculum materials was left behind for an incoming teacher to use for this year, and the flyer was in the binder."

Hogan added that the teacher did not realize that the flyer was not approved and that "correctional action" had been taken against the employee. Hogan added that Planned Parenthood was no longer giving presentations within their schools.

The director apologized and noted that unapproved curriculum had been removed and faculty had been instructed on what was included in approved material.

Some questions.

Why do we need Planned Parenthood teaching in our government-run, taxpayer-funded schools in the first place?

A follow-up question could be, are the LGBTQ advocates teaching in this school or other of our public schools, gaslighting our children about what gender they really are. Is the LGBTQ providing materials to this school, and other schools?

Why did this kind of flyer, that enraged parents, seem normal to the incoming teacher who gave it to the kids without even a question?

Is this type of information "normal" in our kids classrooms, but accountability is only applied when the school(s) are caught in the act by the parents?

Is the school's response to merely punish someone like the teacher because the teacher created a problem, rather than to be sure there is none of this kind of material floating around the school or being used in the classroom?

What possible benefit could come from this material in the first place---except creating new clients for Planned Parenthood?

Planned Parenthood is the face of evil.

This is an isolated incident. Right?

I wish it were.

"Informed Parents of Washington" have objected to early sexualization of children in curriculum, as well as the graphic material and have warned of the possibility of grooming young children for early sexual experiences.

Remember, in the last election cycle, Washington voters approved Referendum 90, a graphic, statewide sex-ed curriculum created and endorsed by Planned Parenthood and other radical organizations.

Last November, Q13 TV began their report on the passage of Ref. 40 with this: "Washington State voters approved a sex education referendum, allowing Democrats' wide-ranging mandate for public schools to stand and take effect later this school year."

We should also remember the "Free The Pill" campaign, which attempted to allow children to get over-the-counter birth control pills---reportedly, children as young as 11--for studies.

So, you don't have a child in Stewart Middle School. Most of us don't. This is not isolated. And I personally believe there is a lot more to this story than we're being told.

How many times have you heard similar stories, that end with an apology and a promise to "never let this happen again?"

There are many good, godly teachers in our public school system, however, there are those whose mission is to indoctrinate kids in their own secular progressive ideology.

Planned Parenthood is obsessed with grooming children to become clients. So is the LGBTQ movement.

Our public government-run school complex is corrupt, because the unions and the activist organizations have taken control of it.

Billy Graham often said, "The greatest legacy one can pass on to one's children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one's life, but rather a legacy of character and faith."

And that legacy begins with protecting our children from the tentacles of government-run education.
