California and the Biblical "Stranger"

California expects to spend 28 times more on health benefits for illegal aliens than on state police in the 2025-2026 budget period.

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s final budget allocates $348 million to law enforcement, while the state’s own budget experts, in an October report, estimate the tab for giving full health benefits to illegal aliens amounts to $10 billion. The new report by the state’s Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO) reveals a 35% higher figure than the $7.4 billion cost Newsom estimated in his January 2025 budget proposal.

This is what socialism looks like. But is this what the Bible is talking about when it instructs us to "welcome the stranger?"

I'll be talking more about this matter in California,  and the results of New York City's mayoral election on our live radio program this morning.

The Daily Caller says, "Democrats are losing the battle for control over the U.S. education system after decades of mismanagement. But they don’t intend to go down without a fight."

Arne Duncan, who served as secretary of the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) under former President Barack Obama, wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post published Monday, urging Democrats to use the funding in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act to pay for their plan to recapture our education system.

"We The People" Dismissed By Another Activist Judge

The Reuters headline reads, "US judge permanently blocks Trump order requiring voters to prove citizenship."

Left-leaning Reuters says, "A federal judge on Friday permanently blocked part of an executive order from Republican U.S. President Donald Trump, ruling that the president cannot require voters to show passports or similar documents as proof of citizenship before voting."

Several lawsuits have challenged the president's March 25 executive order, a sweeping order aimed at overhauling federal elections, and courts have already temporarily blocked it from taking effect. U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly in Washington, D.C., was the first to reach a final ruling against the executive order.

The Left is dismissing "We The People" who are citizens of this country and trying to replace us with illegal aliens, which is stage two of the open borders agenda.

Abortion Industry Fighting for Their Life

The Associated Press has found another story it apparently believes will undermine the Trump Administration's agenda.

They are reporting that "a network of medical clinics that serves low-income residents in Maine said Wednesday it is shutting down its primary care operations because of Trump administration cuts to abortion providers."

AP says, "President Donald Trump’s policy and tax bill, known as the 'big beautiful bill,' blocked Medicaid money from Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. The parameters in the bill also stopped funding from reaching Maine Family Planning, a much smaller provider that also delivers other medical services in the mostly rural state."

A new report highlights which states have laws and policies on the books that are the friendliest and most hostile to faith-based nonprofits.

The Napa Legal Institute released its 2025 Faith and Freedom Index on Monday.

The report ranks each state on a scale of 0-100 based on its protections for religious nonprofit organizations. The overall score is based on a state's "religious freedom score" and its "regulatory freedom score."

No, Washington State is not friendly to faith and freedom. Neither is Oregon nor California.
