CA A/G Will Get to Bottom of PP Scandal
California Attorney General, Democrat Kamala Harris, is promising to get to the bottom of the latest Planned Parenthood scandal involving the selling of aborted baby body parts.
She has begun an investigation to see if any laws were broken---Not by Planned Parenthood, but by the pro-life organization who alerted the public to Planned Parenthood's barbaric baby body parts harvesting.
Forget selling baby parts, let's see if we can take down the group who alerted the public about it.
Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood, said yesterday the video tape was an attempt to "entrap" the abortion organization.
Hillary Clinton said the video tape was an "attack on women's right to choose."
The New York Times editorial board calls the video "a campaign of deception" against PP.
It has been said, "If God does not exist, then everything is permissible."
Have we entered a "New Dark Ages?"
The Sacramento Bee reports that 4 Democratic congress women asked A/G Harris and US Attorney General Loretta Lynch to look into the matter to see if charges could be brought against the pro-life organization.
Harris promised, "We will carefully review the allegations raised in your letter..."
Lynch told the press the federal Justice Department will also "review all the material" to determine if any steps can be taken against the pro-life group.
Cecile Richards made her first television appearance yesterday since the videos became public. She appeared on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos"---a very friendly environment.
George is a hyper-friend to Planned Parenthood, and a donor to the Clinton Foundation.
Richards told the ABC audience the videos are being used to "impugn and smear the name of Planned Parenthood."
Some wonder if Ms. Richards is motivated by a sincere commitment to abort babies in the name of choice, or to keep the cash coming to support her $523,616 annual salary.
The New York Times editorial board has gone after the "Center for Medical Progress"---the pro-life organization that video taped the conversations with Planned Parenthood doctors, like they go after conservative political candidates.
The Times editorial board are demanding the pro-life be taken down because this episode shows they and their pro-life colleagues in Congress are "perfectly willing to undermine women's reproductive rights any way they can."
"This program," they say, "is providing invaluable research that saves lives," and besides, Planned Parenthood is not the only one doing it---"clinics associated with universities also supply tissue for research."
In fact the Times ed-board says, "Lawmakers responding by promoting their own anti-choice agenda are rewarding deception and putting women's constitutionally protected rights at risk."
In the mind of the far left progressive, to oppose this barbaric scheme of Planned Parenthood is somehow a form of "deception" and lawmakers who might think about defunding Planned Parenthood are rewarding the deception.
Who is deceiving whom?
Hillary Clinton has stepped up for Planned Parenthood as well, saying, "I think it is unfortunate that Planned Parenthood has been the object of such a concerted attack for so many years, and it's really an attack on a woman's right to choose, to make the most personal, difficult decisions that any woman would face, based on her faith and the medical advice that she's been given."
They defend the indefensible with such ease.
Clinton says, "I don't have all the facts, but Planned Parenthood has apologized for the insensitivity of their employee."
Apologized for the tone of their discussion about selling body parts from aborted babies?
How can anyone watch the video of Planned Parenthood doctors sipping wine, eating salad and laughing about how much they should receive for certain parts of the aborted baby and how the procedure can be altered to protect those parts.
That is the profile of the secular progressive left in America.
Surely the Republicans will finally take the step to defund Planned Parenthood, right?
Anyone with a trace of morality would think so.
However, Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner refused to say, as lately as Friday, whether or not the Republicans will defund Planned Parenthood.
Of all the Republican candidates who promised to stand for life and vote to defund Planned Parenthood here in Washington state if you would vote for them, only 7 actually did what they promised do.
Pat Buchanan is asking if we have entered a "New Dark Age?" It's a provocative article.
He says a comment by Ivan Karamazov comes to his mind when he watches these unbelievable videos.
Karamazov said, "If God does not exist, then everything is permissible."
Pat says, "That Americans were stunned by those tapes is undeniable. People are not faking their moral revulsion."
But were we really in the dark?
Did we not know that 55 million unborn babies have been killed since Roe v. Wade by the very procedures described by PP's Doctor Nucatola?
Is the "Black Lives Matter" movement not aware that the execution rate of babies in the womb is highest among African-American women?
The number of black men and boys killed in clashes with cops every year is not even one tenth of one percent the number of black babies aborted. Planned Parenthood focuses on black neighborhoods.
If people do not believe life begins at conception, and secular progressives claim they do not believe it, and that unborn babies are not actual human beings--- why object to selling its body parts?
The sense of immorality is undeniable as you watch those video tapes.
Even the daily indoctrination by abortion rights advocates in the classroom, board room and America's entertainment industry does not suppress the knowledge that this is not right. It is very, very wrong.
Buchanan remembers that after the fall of France, at the beginning of the Battle of Britain, Winston Churchill said, "But if we fail then the whole world...including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted by the lights of perverted science."
Those phrases "perverted science" and a new "Dark Ages" describe America if we follow the thinking of Planned Parenthood, its president, its doctors, and yes its advocates---both presently sitting in the Oval Office and those seeking the Oval Office in 2016.
God help us.
