Expert: "No Such Thing As 'Lone Wolf ' Terrorist"

Marine Corps University professor Sebastian Gorka says, "Lone Wolf terrorism is a concept designed to make Americans stupid. There is no such thing."

Clare Lopez, one of our nation's top Middle East experts and former spy, says, "I would not use that term ever, Ever, ever," because it confuses the public.

She also points out significant differences between God's Law and Islamic Sharia law---not only in its content but how it is administered.

While authorities search for Omar Mateen's "motivation" for killing and wounding homosexuals, there are things that are known, but not included in many of our news reports.

Marine Corps University professor Sebastian Gorka told Fox News, moments before President Obama spoke Sunday, that "there is no such thing as 'lone wolf' terrorists,' rather this is a phrase that the media, the president, and others use to make Americans stupid."

He says, "It's time for all Americans---particularly President Obama--to recognize the threat posed by jihadists."

"It's time to wake up, America. The war is here," he says.

He says we haven't seen an Episcopalian suicide bomber. We haven't seen Zoroastrian mass murders. We've seen Muslim extremists. If you deny that, you are in a fantasy land, and you're endangering American citizens."

"Trying to make the narrative surrounding this mass shooting about 'lone wolf terrorism' is pointless," he says, "because those aren't the real issues."

"Whether it's the Chattanooga shooter, whether it's the Fort Hood killer, whether it's the San Bernardino killers or this individual, they are all linked," the professor explains, "by the ideology of global jihadism."

"And," he says, the Obama administration needs to "understand that it is no longer a time for political correctness."

Clare Lopez, one of the nation's top Middle East experts, agrees but says she prefers to use the phrase "individual jihadist."

She says, "individual jihad is a doctrine in Islam."

As we know, this horrific killing in Orlando happened during the month of Ramadan, which runs from June 6 to July 6.

Lopez notes that there are Islamic leaders, including the spokesman for the Islamic State, who have called upon all Muslims to attack Americans, especially and specifically to attack civilians.

"Because homosexuality is a 'hudud'---a capital crime in Islamic law---that target was chosen," she says, adding "and it was a soft target."

Calls by Islamic leadership is a trigger to act regardless of whether there's formal affiliation with terrorist organizations or not, she explains.

There is a common bond---a common ideology, whether or not there is a formal relationship or even any direct contact.

Under Islamic law and doctrine, there is something called "enjoin the good, forbid the evil."

This derives from the sunnah, which is an account of the life of Muhammad and the hadiths.

This means that every Muslim is individually responsible in a personal way for upholding Sharia both in practice and enforcement.

In other words, that doctrine makes every single Muslim a potential, a possible vigilante, because they are obligated to enforce Sharia on an individual basis.

Lopez says this stands in stark contrast to Christianity. "Christians are obligated to live by the Ten Commandments, but each individual Christian isn't obligated to take physical action in enforcing them," she says.

"But in Islam," she emphasizes, "it's the other way around."

Lopez says, "Each Muslim is obligated to enforce it. They are supposed to start by speaking and trying to persuade somebody, or show them the evil of their ways. But if that doesn't work, they are then obligated to take physical action."

This comes to bear in the way our U.S. law works at present. If authorities cannot tie a person---like Omar Mateen---or an act, to one of those groups on the foreign terrorist organization list that the State Department manages, then the president is free to "not" call it terrorism---which he, by his own admission, prefers.

This is one of many profound distinctions between Christianity and Islam, in spite of President Obama's insistence that all religions are pretty much the same and of equal importance to the people who practice them.

Obviously, the greatest distinction is that God became flesh in the form of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Following His death on the cross as payment for our sins, He rose from the dead and is seated at the Right Hand of God the Father.

The shooter---Omar Mateen was born in the U.S. His parents came here from Afghanistan where according to PEW Research, 99% of the people support for Sharia Law. It's 89% in Palestine, 84% in Pakistan.

No figures are available from Syria where the Islamic State is headquartered.

Lopez, herself a former spy, says the communication with Muslims and interested parties in the U.S. is ongoing. There are Islamic jurists, scholars, and imams who are online answering questions in real time all the time.

As she was speaking, she went online to the site, "Islam Question and Answer," and there was a sheik, live from Syria, talking about---in real time, homosexuality and what punishment is called for under Sharia Law.

A free country such as our own is particularly vulnerable to this kind of religious zeal. Our Founders understood that vulnerability and warned of it often.

Unfortunately, the infiltration is not only related to the forming of a destructive ideology but may be within our homeland security defense mechanism and network.

Paul Sperry is reporting that officials are now saying Omar Mateen had 2 firearm licenses and a security officer license--- and was employed since September 10, 2007, by the security firm G4S Secure Solutions USA, Inc.

This firm was merged with the Wackenhut Corp. after 9/11 and assumed federal contracts.

G4S supports the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, with its operations at the U.S. border and with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to transport illegal immigrants in selected urban areas.

G4S also provides security guards and other security services for 90% of US nuclear facilities.

This same organization, that says it has about 610,000 employees. transports hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants.

Earlier this month. Judicial Watch revealed G4S has been quietly moving and releasing van loads of illegal aliens away from the border to interior American cities.

Has ISIS infiltrated Homeland Security?

Who knows? What we do know is that this terrorist had done so.

Yesterday. James B. Comey, Director of the FBI. told Americans he and the agency was doing everything humanly possible to ensure our safety.

He strongly encouraged Americans not to become paralyzed by fear, but to become more vigilant, informed and aware. And to continue to live our lives in the freedoms of this great country.
'
Agreed. However, these are perilous times.

There is a growing spirit of fear in our country.

It was President FDR who famously said in his First Inaugural Address in 1933, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself---nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." (See link for video).

Fear is the prison of the heart.

To God's people, Moses said, "And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."

Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Informed. Be Fearless. Be Prayerful.
