America Exhales...Christians Thank God
At 2:46 AM this morning in New York City, Hillary Clinton called Donald Trump, conceding he had won the presidential election.
Moments earlier, John Podesta, Clinton's campaign chair, had told those waiting for a comment from Hillary to go ahead--go home and get some sleep, "while we continue the counting of votes, because every vote counts."
"We'll have more to say tomorrow," he promised Hillary's supporters.
Vice President-elect Mike Pence, with a tear on his cheek, walked on stage at the Trump event and said, "This is an historic moment---I am grateful to God for His amazing grace."
Mr. Pence then introduced a humble and grateful President-elect Donald Trump.
His comments stunned even his harshest critics.
Trump told the crowd that had been waiting for hours..."Sorry to keep you waiting---it's been a little complicated."
Trump thanked Hillary Clinton for her service to America, and said, "To those who did not support me, I'm reaching out to you...to come together, to unite for our country---and bind our wounds."
He said together we can rebuild our country and restore our dreams.
He called on all Americans to come together to reach our fullest potential.
Trump told the people, we will rebuild our infrastructure, take care of our veterans, rebuild our military and we will get along with all the nations of the world who are willing to get along with us.
He spoke of "reclaiming our destiny."
Trump thanked the many who have been working closely with him including Dr. Ben Carson, Rudy Guliani, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie and others.
Trump thanked the RNC chair Rience Prebius, calling him a rock star--- asking him to step to the mic.
Prebius recognized Trump as the next President of the United States, saying, "Thank God...God bless you."
Monday evening Franklin Graham led millions of Christians in prayer for our country---for God's will on earth as it is in heaven.
Millions prayed asking God to forgive us of our sins, as we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways.
Today, people will tend to over-analyze the events of yesterday. I personally believe God intervened in the direction the leadership of this country has been going and has allowed a flawed, non politician to be elected to the highest office in the world.
This election impacts the Supreme Court for a generation or more. And reaffirms our religious freedoms.
It is indeed an historical moment in the history of our country.
I will be talking more about the implications of this historic election this morning on our live radio program.
You may join me live from anywhere in the world at 9 AM PT on the radio, the computer or your phone. Here's how.
Be Blessed.
