Kavanaugh?

America is riveted on the Kavanaugh nomination---as we should be. It's that important.

As I publish this early this morning, AP reports that "a vote is scheduled for today that will set up a decisive roll call vote---likely over the weekend."

Will he? Or won't he become the next US Supreme Court Justice?

The nomination will be decided by the Senate, but the cultural battle that has been focused on Kavanaugh will continue because it is a collision of worldviews---one rooted in conservative absolute Judeo-Christian Truth, values and principles; the other in secular progressive "evolving truth" based on whatever an individual believes to be "truth" at any given time.

Associated Press gives a lengthy description this morning of the Kavanaugh nomination.

"A high stakes partisan row broke out Thursday over a confidential FBI report..."

"The verbal battling commenced as the conservative jurist's prospects for winning Senate confirmation to the Supreme Court remained at the mercy of five wavering senators, with an initial, critical vote looming Friday," AP reports.

The "wavering senators" are 3 Republicans and 2 Democrats: They are Senators Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Lisa Murkoski (R-AK), Susan Collins (R-ME), Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Heitkamp (D-ND).

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), one of the "wavering" says, "I'm looking at the gentleman as an adult from [age] 22 to 53, thirty-one years of service."

Manchin and other "wavering senators" are also looking at their constituents---and there has been a significant backlash from ordinary Americans who see this hearing for what it has been: A charade.

Associated Press notes that Kavanaugh is a "conservative jurist"---which he is.

And that's the problem.

Specifically, the problem is abortion---Roe v Wade.

Does the Constitution guarantee a "right" for women to kill or abort their unwanted unborn child?

I'll be talking more about this on the radio today. Join me live from anywhere in the world at 9 AM PDT. Here's how.

Throughout today and this weekend, I strongly encourage every biblical Christian to pray.

Pray for our country. Pray for the president. Pray for the Kavanaugh family. Pray for God's will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

And remember:

2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Be Prayerful. and Be Informed.
