Franklin Graham is leading a group of more than 250 Christian leaders in calling for June 2 to be a "special day of prayer" for President Donald Trump.

Franklin says it's urgent.

Be informed.

Evangelicals support President Trump.

Franklin says, "I am asking followers of Christ across our nation to set aside next Sunday, June 2, as a special day of prayer for the President."

He says President Trump's enemies continue to try everything to destroy him, his family, and the presidency. In the history of our country, no president has been attacked as he has---"I believe," he says, "the only hope for him, and this nation, is God."

Franklin posted this on Facebook:

President Trump’s enemies continue to try everything to destroy him, his family, and the presidency. In the history of our country, no president has been attacked as he has. I believe the only hope for him, and this nation, is God.
This is a critical time for America. We’re on the edge of a precipice. Time is short. We need to pray for God to intervene. We need to ask God to protect, strengthen, encourage, and guide the President.
We know that God hears and answers prayer. He can soften hearts and change minds. He is all-powerful, and He rules over the affairs of nations. The Bible instructs us to pray for those in authority, “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior” (1 Timothy 2:2–3).

Graham is asking all pastors to lead their congregations on June 2nd---next Sunday---in praying for the President, and that Sunday Schools and other groups would also join in the special day of prayer. He's also asking that "individuals and families across the country would have a focus on praying for the President that day."

Support from Hollywood. Really.

At least one in Hollywood---veteran Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight declares that Donald Trump is the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. In fact, he says every political move Trump has made has been right.

In the first of two videos entitled, "To my fellow Americans," Voight praises Trump for his efforts to combat the political Left and their "absurd words of the destruction."

Voight continues:
“People of the Republican party, I know you will agree with me when I say that our president has our upmost respect and love. This job is not easy, for he is battling the left, and their absurd words of destruction. I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, that our nation has been built on the solid ground from our forefathers. And there is a moral code of duty that has been passed on from President Lincoln.”

As you can imagine, most in Hollywood do not agree with Jon Voight. And they immediately let him know just how much they disagree with him.

Not detoured, Jon continues. In the second part, goes on to argue that America is "witnessing triumph" despite the claims from the political Left that it is in crises.

He claims, "The country is stronger, safer, and with more jobs because our President his every move correct.

Voight says:
"Don't be fooled by the political Left, because we are the people of this nation that is witnessing triumph. So let us stand with our president, let us stand for this truth that President Trump is the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln. God bless America, and may God continue to guide this nation"

Hollywood chokes on Trump-Lincoln comparison.

Left-wing actor Albert Brooks spoke for many in Hollywood when he jumped on Twitter late Saturday night and began comparing veteran actor Jon Voight to President Abraham Lincoln's killer John Wilkes Booth.

Brooks posted this: "I like Jon Voight as an actor. He might be the greatest actor since John Wilkes Booth."

The hatred from the left is obviously directed not only at the President, but toward those who publicly support him.

I'm joining Franklin and a growing number of other's who are committing to pray for the president this Sunday.

And we're encouraging you to join in this national prayer.

Be Prayerful. Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Vigilant.
