Academy Award-winning actor Jon Voight released a video Friday encouraging Americans to "stand strong" with President Trump. He called the President, "the highest nobleman who has defended our country"---Voight says, "This is war."

He says, "In the name of God, and His power for this nation, let us stay strong..."

It is war. The country has never been more deeply divided since our Civil War.

Be informed.

Voight released his short video Friday. I encourage you to watch it. It's 2 minutes and 14 seconds.

He says, "The Left are afraid, for their power is lessening with every deal that is accomplished by Donald Trump."

He closes his appeal to the American public by asking God to show the truth to all Americans---and implores all Americans to, in the name of God, stand strong with Trump 'against the evil among us'."

The video has gone viral. So has the unfolding drama in the most powerful government in the world. The so-called progressive Left trying to destroy the presidency of a duly elected President--- The progressive Left trying to reverse the vote of nearly 63 million conservative and evangelical citizens.

To call it a "war" is an understatement. It is spiritual warfare.

The spiritual war.

On Saturday, Speaker Pelosi, who has been resisting the demands for the impeachment inquiry from the radical Left of her Party, said: "After much prayer and patriotic consideration" decided to move impeachment forward.

She told ABC Saturday,
"This is a very sad time for our country. There is no joy in this. We must be somber, we must be prayerful and we must pursue the facts further to make a decision ,,," She told ABC "I'm heartbroken." She said, "I have a responsibility to defend the Constitution."

Far Left progressives are not known for "defending the Constitution." They are known to be revisionists, trying to rewrite the intent of the Constitution, declare it to be a "living", evolving document and to find within that Constitution the "right" to legalized killing of millions of unwanted unborn children, redefine marriage, the most fundamental cornerstone of human sustainability, and strip God from the public square.

She and Jon Voight are both right to attach a spiritual dimension to this great battle for our country.

Reports from the front lines.

Derek Hunter wrote yesterday,
"Lying takes a lot of effort, telling the truth is easy. When you start lying you have to remember which lie you told which person, and as the truth begins to creep out, as it always does, you find yourself scrambling to twist it to fit back into your lie, Democrats, both in Congress and in the media, are finding this out the hard way this week with their latest 'Trump is corrupt and we must get him' , lie."

Hunter notes that "Most people learn when they're kids that honesty is the best policy, but politicians and journalists are now overgrown, overpaid kids---admitting that there may be a few honest ones, but most are not.

He says the reoccurring "truth" in the media and with the Left is that "the President threatened to withhold aid money from the Ukraine unless Zelensky investigated Joe and Hunter Biden," but "the transcript shows that never happened."

Forget the facts---the press and the Democrats say, "Here's my truth on the matter."

The press has total amnesia regarding Joe Biden getting the Ukraine top law officer fired because he was investigating the natural gas industry, which included Hunter Biden whop sat on the board of the company.

MSNBC

Katy Tur summarized the transcript with this: "Will you do me a favor and investigate Vice President Biden's son? Will you do me a favor and get involved in the 2020 election? Vice President Biden is my chief political opponent."

CNN

Brianna Keillor said President Trump told Zelensky, "I would like you to do us a favor...the President asks Zelensky to dig up dirt on Biden and his son, Hunter."

The problem is that Trump released the telephone conversation transcript, and Trump said nothing close to that.

In fact, you have to skip 540 words before you even get to the part about Biden. But the media, generally has just erased everything except that part.

Even the New York Times has admitted in an article, that Ukraine didn't know he had held up their money when Trump was talking to them. They found out a month after the call. How do you leverage someone when they don't now that you are leveraging them? If they don't know their US money is in jeopardy, why would they be motivated to act in any particular way? They weren't. Because no one was trying to leverage them. Except for Vice President Joe Biden a couple of years earlier.

In a POLITICO story in 2016, Politico reported that "Ukraine Government officials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine the Trump campaign by publicly questioning his fitness for office."

In fact, President Trump had tweeted before all this ignited that he didn't like and didn't trust Ukraine because they had "tried to take me down" in the 2016 election because they supported Hillary.

When you listen to endless repetitions of these lies it can begin to sound ominous.

Politico also ran a story titled, "Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire."

When evil plans backfire.

USA Today has warned the Democrats and their enablers that all this may well backfire if they are not careful.

USA Today is right. These kinds of deceptions often "backfire."

Takeaway.

Follow this timeline from the biblical Book of Esther:

  • Esther 2:19-23: Esther's cousin, Mordecai uncovers a plot to assassinate the king. He reports the details to Queen Esther who passes on this information to the king. The plotters are arrested and hanged.
  • Esther 3:1-15: Later Xerxes promotes Haman to be his chief counsel. Haman is a descendant of the Amalekites, the original enemies of the people of Judah. Mordecai, as a Jew who worships the one and true living God---refuses to bow down and honor Haman.
  • In 474 BC, Haman devises a plan to exterminate all the Jews throughout Babylonia and to confiscate their possessions. Xerxes (who doesn't know about his wife Esther's origins) agrees to Haman's plan.
  • Esther 4:1-17: Mordecai urges Queen Esther to beg the king to spare the lives of the Jews.
  • Esther 5:1-8: Esther courageously approaches King Xerxes and asks that he and Haman attend a banquet with her the next day.
  • Esther 5: 9-14: Meanwhile, Hayman builds a gallows intending to get royal permission to hang his enemy, Morecai.
  • Esther 6: 1-14: That evening, while reading through the royal chronicles, Xerxes is reminded that he has not yet rewarded Mordecai for exposing the assassination attempt. Consequently the next morning, Mordecai is rewarded for his loyalty. Haman is ordered to dress Mordecai in a royal robe and parade him through the streets of Susa on one of the kings' horses.
  • Esther 7: 1-10: At the banquet, Esther pleads for the king's mercy for herself, a Jew, and all her people. Xerxes grants her request. Haman's evil intentions are exposed, and he is executed on the gallows he had erected to destroy Mordecai.
