Biden Urges Muslims To Help Him Defeat Trump

Joe Biden addressed an online Muslim summit hosted by "Emgage Action" Monday asking Muslims across America to help him defeat Trump---promising "your voices will be included in the decision-making process as we work to rebuild our nation."

Translation--as we work together to "remake" our nation.

All politicians want everybody to vote for them, but given Biden's instability, obsession with being president, and willingness to be a "transitional" president---it's important Christians and conservatives clearly understand the implication of what he is promising.

Be informed, not misled.

Muslim leaders promise all-out commitment to Biden.

Associated Press said yesterday that Biden told the Muslim advocacy organization summit:
"I want to earn your vote not just because he's not worthy of being president, I want to work in partnership with you, make sure your voices are included in the decision making process as we work to rebuild our nation."

Wa'el Alzayat, CEO of Emgage, said he is committed to maximizing Muslim turnout for Biden in key battleground states like Michigan. He says in Michigan alone his organization "Emgage" has chapters across the state with about 150,000 registered Muslim voters.

He also noted that Trump won Michigan---a battleground state---by only about 11,000 votes in 2016.

Several prominent Muslim elected officials have endorsed Biden in a letter organized by "Emgage Action" ahead of the summit.

Among those who signed the letter are Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Indiana Rep. Andre Carson---all Democrat and Muslim. Minnesota is also a state with many Muslims and is a battleground state.

Alzayat says, "Joe Biden's presence serves not only to galvanize Muslim Americans to cast their ballots but to usher in an era of engaging with Muslim American communities.

Emgage is calling the campaign "Million Muslim Votes" to emphasize Muslim turnout in November.

Biden wasn't the Muslim's first choice.

Back in February of this year, Emgage strongly endorsed Bernie Sanders as the man who most represented their dream for America.

They said at the time, "Senator Sanders has built a historically inclusive and forward-thinking movement..." saying that "Bernie's multiracial coalition represents the best chances for a more just and diverse America," noting that "Donald Trump has demonized our Muslim communities."

Interestingly, if you read the entire story linked above and compare Bernie's commitment to them in February, with Biden's this Monday, it's the same narrative. Yet when Biden and Bernie were running against one another in the primary, Biden always cast Bernie as too far-Left for the citizens of America.

Who is Biden trying to fool? America? Or the Muslims?

As Democrats line up behind Biden, many of them note that they believe Biden will be easily influenced. Even some so-called "moderates" are saying they are voting for Biden because he can be easily influenced and guided, where Trump cannot.

Some concerns. Is sharia compatible with our Constitution?

While Muslims in America downplay the importance of sharia in their own personal lives, they also claim that Americans and the West do not understand it and its compatibility with our Constitution.

Our earliest presidents best understood our founding principles because they framed them.

In 1786, Thomas Jefferson, ambassador to France, and John Adams, ambassador to England, became so concerned over the plundering and theft of American goods by the Islamic Barbary Pirates---and their demands of ransom for the stolen American goods, they decided to look into the matter personally.

They had an in-depth meeting with the emissary of the Islamic potentates of Tripoli to England.

Following the meeting, they gave a 4-page report to Congress describing the meeting.

This is part of that report:
"We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the Grounds of their pretentions to make war upon Nations who had done them no Injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation."
"The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their prophet, that it was written in their Qur'an, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman [Muslim] who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise."

John Adam's son, our 6th president John Quincy Adams, grew up around the influence of Jefferson, Washington and other Founding Fathers, including his dad.

"Quincy," as his friends called him, took the same presidential oath his father had taken---to uphold the Constitution---the same oath every president takes.

When faced with a challenge from an Islamic enemy, he understood his obligation to be informed as to how sharia collides with America's Constitution regarding doctrines, objectives, jurisprudence, and theology.

John Quincy wrote a 136 page series of essays that shows his clear understanding of the incompatibility between the two. If you have a few moments the link is worth reading.

This is part of what he wrote. After a brief history of Islam and a brief overview of Christianity---he wrote:

The precept of the koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force .

John Quincy concludes with this regarding the Koran and Christianity--the basis of our constitutional law:

Hatred is yet a passion, but too powerful upon the hearts of Christians. Yet they cannot indulge it, except by the sacrifice of their principles, and the conscious violation of their duties. No state paper from a Christian hand, could, without trampling the precepts of its Lord and Master, have commenced by an open proclamation of hatred to any portion of the human race. The Ottoman lays it down as the foundation of his discourse.

Takeaway.

Polls show that a majority (51%) of Muslims living in the US believe they should have a choice between being governed by sharia or US constitutional law.

Our Founders clearly understood that sharia--Islamic law--and our constitutional law was incompatible. Then and now.

I'm pretty sure that most of us today still see the stark contrast. But I'm not sure a President Joe Biden could see it, or would even care to look into the matter.

Our country stands at the proverbial "fork in the road."

Many of us baseball fans remember that New York Yankee Yogi Berra once said, "When you come to a fork in the road...take it." Unfortunately, that won't work this time.

Our choice in November will either set the table for restoration or destruction.

Pray for America. Pray for the president.
