NBC is reporting that "President Biden signed an executive order Sunday," (yesterday), "calling on federal agencies "'to promote and defend the right to vote for all Americans who are legally entitled to participate in elections'."
In a related action, the House passed HR 1, which is defined by NBC as a "wide-ranging package of electoral and ethic reforms" that Biden will sign if the Senate passes the bill.
After issuing his executive order President Biden told the press, "Let The People Vote."
However, the executive order and HR 1 are primarily designed to let all kinds of people vote---including those who should not be voting. And they open the door for more, not less of the fraud that existed in the last election.
Be informed, not misled.
NBC News also reported that the president called the Republican resistance to his executive order and HR 1 "an all-out assault on the right to vote."
Biden and his party seized the moment, highlighting the fact that the House passed HR 1 and he issued his executive order on the day which commemorates the 1965 "Bloody Sunday" crossing of the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama where "black demonstrators fighting for access to the ballot box were beaten by police."
Biden's order says in part,
"It is the responsibility of the federal government to expand access to, and education about, voter registration and election information, and to combat misinformation, in order to enable all eligible Americans to participate."
Elections officials are encouraged to distribute voter registration and voting-by-mail applications and help voters fill out those applications if need be. It also instructs election officials to "solicit and facilitate approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations and State officials to provide voter registration services on agency premises."
It directs that "Federal prisoners who are currently incarcerated will be educated on their voting rights, with those who are eligible to vote being registered to do so."
And the order establishes an "Interagency Steering Group on Native American Voting Rights," aimed at protecting their vote. Included in the steering group will be the "attorney general, interior secretary, agriculture secretary, labor secretary, health and human services secretary, and the VA secretary."
The White House said yesterday that even if HR 1 would not be passed by the Senate, they believe President Biden's executive order will "stem the tide."
Stem what tide?
The Republican "acts of voter suppression."
The president says, "During this current legislative session, elected officials in 43 states have already introduced over 250 bills to make it harder to vote. We cannot let them succeed."
He said of HR 1, also known as the For The People Act of 2021, "This is a landmark piece of legislation that is urgently needed. I hope the Senate does its work so I can sign it into law."
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) says, "This legislation is exactly the wrong response" to what he called the "distressing lack of faith in our elections," saying Democrats want to use their "temporary power" to "try and ensure they'll never half to relinquish it."
Just like the ruling class in most third-world countries.
Biden's order celebrates fraud. HR 1 will enshrine it into our laws.
At least 20 state attorney generals have signed a letter denouncing HR 1 and the Democrats who voted for it, offering a long list of reasons, including that it is "unconstitutional."
The letter notes that the "bill betrays several constitutional deficiencies and alarming mandates" that would "federalize" statewide elections across America and that "states have principal---and with presidential elections, exclusive---responsibility to safeguard how they hold elections under the Constitution."
The A/G's called the bill a "monstrosity of a bill that betrays the Constitution, dangerously federalizes state elections, and undermines the integrity of the ballot box."
The bill affects the allotment of electors, redistricting, the "exclusive division of power" and a host of other issues.
Fox News published a detailed article of the damage this bill, should it become law, would do to the entire voting process in America.
The state Attorney's General concluded their letter with a promise.
They said should the "For The People Act" become law, they will "seek legal remedies to protect the Constitution, the sovereignty of all states, our elections, and the rights of our citizens."
The House of Representatives passed the bill Friday night. It will now go to the Senate. Should they pass it, President Biden says, "I'll sign it."
The takeaway.
This is a big deal. Should it become law, it will change everything regarding our elections. Fraud will become the new norm, as they say.
This bill is exactly the opposite of how it has been presented. It will change election rules to make it easier to cheat and easier to manipulate election results. And on the ethics and campaign finance rule changes, it's designed to restrict and chill speech, political speech, and political activity.
The effect of taking the power away from the states in elections cannot be overstated.
The framers of our Constitution gave the authority to the states to run elections. And the reason for that was they didn't want the people who are in control of Washington DC, say one party as is now the case, changing the rules nationally to ensure they remain in office perpetually.
That's exactly what the Democrats are trying to do under the guise of "helping minorities."
This bill, should it become law, will allow the people in power in Washington DC to run the entire federal elections.
Should the Senate vote down straight party lines, the bill will pass. We'll see what happens. Please pray and contact your senators and ask them not to vote for HR 1.
Perhaps the most revealing aspect of this bill is the length to which the radical Left will go to "remake America."
But remember. God is in control.
Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Vigilant. Be Prayerful.
