Biden Proclaims First Transgender Day of Visibility

Yesterday President Biden issued the first-ever presidential proclamation recognizing "Transgender Day of Visibility."

NBC explained, "The day is dedicated to celebrating transgender people and bringing awareness to discrimination and violence they face every day."

NBC critically compared Biden's compassion, to Trump's refusal to celebrate the sexual confusion and behavior.

Are we stumbling toward Sodom?

Be informed, not misled.

The Presidential Proclamation

The official Presidential Proclamation begins with "Today we honor and celebrate the achievements and resiliency of transgender individuals and communities."

Biden explains, "Their trailblazing work has given countless transgender individuals the bravery to live openly and authentically."

The president notes that although much progress has been made "in advancing civil rights for LGBTQ+ Americans, too many transgender people---adults and youth---will still face systemic barriers to freedom and equality."

He says, "The crisis of violence against transgender women, especially transgender women of color, is a stain on our nation's conscience."

NBC adds, "The Biden-Harris Administration is committed to fulfilling the promise of America for all Americans by stamping out discrimination and delivering freedom and equality for all."

Hopefully, that would include biblical Christians.

Does honoring and celebrating a lifestyle God condemns deliver freedom and equality for all?

Homosexuality and "transgenderism" are so contradictory to God's view as expressed in His "proclamation" that we call the Bible, that it's impossible to see how the behavior would ever bring freedom or equality to anyone.

Romans chapter 1 is an introduction to how God views this behavior. As "Creator", Genesis tells us that "God created male and female," while numerous other Scriptures clearly condemn any other kind of arrangement that we creatures may create.

Honoring perversion certainly doesn't bring "equality for all" for high school and college-age girls who participate in sports---now being forced to compete directly with boys who "identify" as girls.

The feminists lied to our daughters for years telling them---and their parents---that there is no difference between men and women, boys and girls.

How does this salve the conscience of America? It does so only when America has become so deceived we can't distinguish between right and wrong---between natural and unnatural.

The president's proclamation is not an act of good conscience, it's an example of a seared conscience that is the result of having a form of godliness (Christianity) but denying its power.

There should never, ever, under any circumstances, be any kind of discrimination---violent or nonviolent--- directed at anyone for any reason including the LGBTQ+ community.

They need help.

But do they need to be celebrated?

Yesterday President Biden ordered that the "transgender flag" be displayed at the White House to celebrate "Transgender Day of Visibility."

President Biden said, "Vice President Harris and I affirm that transgender Americans make our Nation more prosperous, vibrant, and strong."

Transgender Americans are also suing our institutions that refuse to "celebrate" them.

The Religious Exemption Accountability Project, (REAP)---an activist organization that "empowers queer, trans and nonbinary students at more than 200 tax-payer funded religious colleges and universities that actively discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression" filed a lawsuit on Monday in an Oregon federal court.

They are claiming that the religious exemption tax-funded Christian schools receive for Title IX discrimination law is unconstitutional because it permits LGBT discrimination.

REAP's lawsuit asserts the constitutional and basic human rights of LGBTQ+ students, seeking to end the sexual, physical, and psychological abuse a group of 33 students experienced at 25 different Christian colleges and universities.

Clearly, they are trying to essentially shut down the Christian institutions because they "do not" celebrate their sexual behavior.

The lawsuit, "Elizabeth Hunter ET AL. VS u.s. Department of Education," is named for one of the plaintiffs who is a former student at Bob Jones University. Other plaintiffs went to Baylor University in Texas, Union University in Tennessee, Nyack College in New York,  Azusa Pacific University in California, Seattle Pacific University, and George Fox University in Oregon.

All this as our nation looks at the most anti-Christian, anti-American bill to ever pass the House to the Senate for approval.

The "Equality Act."

The Equality Act now sits in the US Senate waiting for approval. A few years ago, even the Democrat Party would not have put forward such an obscene piece of legislation.

Today it's celebrated. It touches every part of American life from voting to the sacred right of "freedom of religion" and "freedom of expression" ---even to redefining human sexuality.

Americans Defending Freedom (ADF) General Counsel Kristen Waggoner says the Equality Act "punishes and marginalizes people who hold decent and honorable beliefs about marriage or dare to believe the scientific evidence regarding the physical differences between men and women."

Make no mistake, Biden's proclamation, the House passing the Equality Act, sending it to the Senate, and the push to normalize the LGBTQ+ agenda is all about advancing Obama's dream of "remaking America."

Concluding his proclamation President Biden wrote:

"In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this thirty first day of March, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty one, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-fifth."

This proclamation is about many things---none of which is "the Lord." Or the independence of the United States.

It's about the Left controlling the country by controlling the various identity groups.

"Equality is not the motive behind the movement any more than diversity is."

This is all about the so-called progressive Left keeping all their identity constituencies buttoned up under their political party.

To do so they are always working to make those identity groups "more" visible," not less so in the culture.

This is not a struggle for "equality," it's an all-out assault on Christian colleges and universities, on institutions like the Boy Scouts, and even the Christian church---think United Methodist...and at least a dozen others.
