America's "Hamas Squad" Speaks For Whom?

United States Congress is elected to represent the people of the United States in their district.

Does America's "Hamas Squad" really represent the people of their district? Much less the United States?

The so-called "squad' were out on the streets of New York City this past weekend, demonstrating for the terrorists who attacked Israel---Hamas, which is funded by Iran.

I'm not the only one who noticed that elected "Representatives" serving in the US Congress were out on the street demonstrating against our country and its allies.

Be informed, not misled.

Isaiah 62:1: "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth."

Congressional “Squad” members were blasted for urging a ceasefire in the Middle East after Hamas fighters killed hundreds of Israelis Saturday in a shocking sneak attack that led Israel to launch retaliatory strikes.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and other pro-Palestine reps did condemn the cruel terror assault but they also called for all violence to stop as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared Israel was “at war.”

Now that Hamas has attacked and killed people in Israel---please stop the violence.

She said in a statement:

“Today is devastating for all those seeking a lasting pe

Peace and respect for human rights,” AOC said in a statement. “I condemn Hamas’ attack in the strongest possible terms. No child and family should ever endure this kind of violence and fear, and this violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region."

“An immediate ceasefire and de-escalation is urgently needed to save lives.”

I find it beyond interesting that the Leftists always refer to Israel as "oppressive" and a nation that "occupies" the region.

These are the same people who hate Columbus and promote "Indigenous People's Day" every year on his birthday. And destroy his statues.

Do they not know that the Hebrew people---the Jews--- are the indigenous people of the region?

Even if these public servants don't believe in the God of the Bible or that He gave them the land, they should be capable of taking a quick look at history.

The Jewish people originated in and are indigenous to what is now the modern state of Israel.  Jews are from Judea.

Even the masterminds of Palestinian terrorism, those who founded the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), understood and acknowledged this fact when they drafted their charter in the 1960s, which tellingly states, “Palestine is the homeland of the Arab Palestinian people.”

Rep. Cori Bush (D-Missouri) criticized US foreign policy in her statement over the attacks, insisting to achieve peace in the region, the US needs to end its “support for Israeli military occupation and apartheid."

Bush and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) also called for the fighting to stop. And Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) said, “We need a way to end this deadly violence that is killing and traumatizing generations of Israelis and Palestinians alike—including the blockade of Gaza.”

The New York Post says, "The collection of statements was not well received by conservative commentators."

“Yet another Democrat wanting ‘ceasefire; by victims of a brutal terrorist attack,'” Kyle Lamb, a Florida Republican and staffer on Ron DeSantis’ campaign, tweeted in reply to Bush’s statement.

“The squad telling Israel to stand down after it was attacked and hundreds of its citizens were massacred. Incredible,” well-known conservative account Comfortably Smug tweeted in reply to Pressley’s call for a ceasefire.

A writer for Townhall John Hasson blasted Omar’s statement for implying “that attacking/killing IDF forces is fine” because she only mentioned women, children, the elderly, and unarmed people in her statement.

In reply to AOC’s demand that fighting stop, prominent conservative activist Ned Ryun replied in a tweet, “How about no?”

Netanyahu says, “We will take mighty vengeance for this wicked day.”

Iran. The evil face behind the evil terrorists.

Jason Bedrick, writing for the Heritage Foundation's "The Signal," says, "Fifty years ago, Israel was also caught by surprise when Arab armies invaded on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year. This time, the Palestinian terrorists chose to attack on Simchat Torah, the most joyous holy day in the Jewish calendar, when Jews celebrate the completion of the annual cycle of studying the Torah and then immediately begin it again."

"Their choice of this date is no coincidence," he says. "it is a sign that Hamas, like their predecessors, sees itself at war not only with the government of Israel but also with the Children of Israel and the God of Israel—the Jewish people and Judaism itself.

Bedrick says, "Let’s be clear: Those calling for a ceasefire or prattling about a 'cycle of violence' are really calling for Israel’s unilateral disarmament. They’re calling for Hamas and Iran to be able to massacre Israelis with impunity and then be rewarded with sovereign Israeli territory. Americans with a moral compass should recognize these disingenuous declarations for what they are. At best, Tlaib and 'the Squad' are useful idiots for a Nazi-like Islamofascist regime bent on the genocide of the Jews."

He's right. And Iran is behind it all.

On Saturday, Iranian Supreme Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei made his genocidal intent clear in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

He said, “God willing, the cancer of the usurper Zionist regime [Israel] will be eradicated at the hands of the Palestinian people and the Resistance forces throughout the region.”

His unholy prayer for the mass murder of Jews was posted alongside a video of Israeli youths fleeing from a music festival that was the site of a massacre by Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists. More than 260 bodies of murdered Jewish youths have been located so far. Eyewitness accounts have described young Israeli women being “raped … next to their friends’ bodies, dead bodies.”

Iran’s role in the attack on Israel is clear. Hamas spokesman Ghazi Hamad told the BBC that Iran gave them a green light for the attack. The Wall Street Journal has reported that “according to senior members of Hamas and Hezbollah, … Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had worked with Hamas since August to devise the air, land, and sea incursions.”

Tehran’s ultimate culpability for the attacks is clear. As Heritage Foundation national security experts Victoria Coates and Robert Greenway explained, “Absent significant training, equipment, and intelligence capabilities supplied by Iran, Hamas would never have been able to have carried out such an operation.”

In other words, no Iran, no attacks.

Squad members will screech about civilian casualties, but the Biden administration must remember that every spilled drop of Palestinian blood is on the heads of Hamas.

As was the case with the Yom Kippur War, the outcome of the Simchat Torah War must be decisive. Peace will not come through appeasement, concessions, ransom, or “restraint.” Peace will come, as Ronald Reagan put it, through strength.

The Psalmist David  said in Psalm 29: “The Lord shall grant strength to His people; the Lord shall bless His people with peace.”
