RE the "Bombed" Hospital in Gaza

ABC News report led with this: "BREAKING: At least 500 people have been killed in a strike that targeted Al Ahli Arab Hospital in the middle of Gaza, according to the Gaza Health Ministry."

ABC continued, "The hospital served as a shelter for thousands of residents who fled their homes in northern Gaza."

As the sun rose over Gaza, fresh evidence of precisely what happened at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital has emerged, and it exposes perhaps the worst war-time disinformation campaign in modern history.

Be informed, not misled.

Although I mentioned this successful effort by the terrorists to mislead the world yesterday on our daily live radio program, it's important to take a closer look at what we know today.

Hamas counted on an uninformed public and a biased press to carry their lie to the world.

ABC News was among the first to report the "Israeli bombing" of the hospital. However, almost all news organizations were reporting it by yesterday afternoon.

The hospital was first reported to have been struck by the Gaza Health Ministry, controlled by Hamas, at 7:20 PM local time on Tuesday evening.

Almost immediately, claims of carnage, leveled buildings, and at least 500 dead from an "Israeli bombing" began to inundate the world press, including American outlets like The New York Times, ABC News, CNN, and the Associated Press.

Red State says this:

Yet, it was also immediately clear that things weren't adding up. In my initial write-up, I noted several bits of information that would lead one to believe it was actually a rocket fired from Gaza that misfired and fell short. Shortly after publishing that piece, video evidence emerged, and it wasn't from the Israelis.

Rather, it was a live broadcast that occurred on Al Jazeera, and it included a timestamp on the chryon (i.e. no one can claim it was doctored). What the pro-Hamas network inadvertently showed was that at 6:59 PM, a rocket was fired from Gaza, exploded mid-air, and then fell down onto the hospital grounds.

By early Wednesday morning, more proof had emerged, including an intercepted conversation between jihadists admitting that a rocket had misfired near the hospital and caused the damage.

By Wednesday, more proof had emerged, including an intercepted conversation between jihadists admitting that a rocket had misfired near the hospital and caused the damage.

In fact, you can listen to their conversation on "X," formerly Twitter.

It quickly became apparent that Hamas had lied---and the world press reported the lie-- misleading the world.

Light dispels darkness

All this information would have been enough to expose the lie, but as daylight entered the area, what we saw at the hospital was shocking.

The hospital wasn't bombed.

A Hamas-launched rocket fell into the parking lot. Some reports say it was a failed rocket launch, some say it was intercepted in the air and pieces fell to the ground, including in the hospital parking lot.

Here's what is certain: The hospital is standing. It was not bombed.

Jesus said,  “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch” (Mt. 15: 14).

The biased press led the uninformed world into the ditch regarding the hospital.

This targeted disinformation campaign ran its way around the globe, parroted by the most prominent news outlets, causing violence in multiple countries. That violence is still ongoing, with Western embassies and consulates under attack in Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan, among others.

Even a former Canadian MP said Israel's bombing of the hospital confirms they do not have the right to exist.

It was all based on a lie told by a terrorist organization. This wasn't a so-called "little lie" either. Hamas entirely made up a story about a hospital being leveled by an IAF bombing. The press reported it uncritically for hours, with some claiming people were being "pulled from the rubble." They then made up a story about 500 people being dead. The press also repeated those numbers with zero verification.

Where is the accountability? Who is going to lose their job over this? Will apologies be issued from these news organizations claiming the utmost credibility? Don't hold your breath, but let this be another lesson that you should never blindly believe the mainstream press.

Takeaway

In my view, the idea of President Biden going to the Middle East at this time was very foolish.

We all understand that it was intended to save his presidency-- -win the next election-- -look like a world leader-- -show American strength, etc.

We are told that Biden went there to support Israel, while at the same time, his spokesman declares he is going there to ask Israel some “tough questions.” In his speech, he kept chiding Israel for its strong response and suggested that Israel is not upholding Western values, although he couches it in slightly softer terms than that.

Journalist David Strom said this:

Arab leaders all canceled on him, refusing to meet the president, proving that he is too weak to command the respect of our Arab partners in the region. When even Jordan, about as moderate an Arab country as you can find, won’t even grant the courtesy of a meeting with the President of the United States, we look extremely weak.

And he said this:

Biden looks like a bumbling idiot, which he has always been, and like a dementia patient who can’t maintain a train of thought for 30 seconds.

But he is the President of the United States, who can barely talk when visiting in public with a world leader in the middle of a war for survival. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and the ability to play for them on Biden’s part couldn’t be much lower.

Biden, and by extension America, look weak.

The blind has led the blind into a ditch.
