Joe Biden is the Bully on the Block

Whether it is Ukraine or Uganda, "public servant," Joe Biden doesn't blink when he uses taxpayer money to force people to do his will.

As vice president, he infamously threatened Ukraine if they didn't fire the investigator who was getting very close to the deep corruption in the Burisma gas company from which the Biden family was, and apparently still is, receiving thousands, if not millions of dollars, he would withhold a billion plus of American aid dollars.

He bragged about it on video.

Now, he is strong-arming Uganda, demanding that if they do not embrace his social agenda, he will remove them from the list of African countries America is financially supporting.

In fact he has already done so.

Be informed, not misled.

An advocate for religious freedom says it's shameful how the Biden administration is using the threat of pulling U.S. aid to impose its LGBTQ obsession on smaller, conservative cultures overseas.

The "Big Guy" threatens Ukraine.

It was about personal enrichment in Ukraine. The investigator was getting too close to the money flow to the Biden family---so Biden fired him using American tax payer's money to carry out his threat.

This is a short video clip of Biden's remarks. You'll remember it.

He tells the story in his own words. This is the context of his boast to the Council on Foreign Relations.

The Hill reported this:

In his own words, with video cameras rolling, he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016 that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden recalled telling Poroshenko.

“Well, ( expletive) he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,” Biden told the Council on Foreign Relations event, insisting that President Obama was in on the threat.

The Hill also reported this:

But Ukrainian officials tell me there was one crucial piece of information that Biden must have known but didn’t mention to his audience: The prosecutor he got fired was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into the natural gas Burisma Holding corporation that employed Biden’s younger son as a highly paid board member.

Now, the bully is picking on the Christians in Uganda.

President Joe Biden announced this week that he will remove four nations from the African Growth and Opportunity Act, a U.S. initiative designed to make it easier for under-developed countries to access American aid and to improve their relations with the U.S.

Biden said the countries are being removed for "gross violations" of human rights – but in the case of Uganda there may be an underlying motive. Biden in May warned that Uganda could face sanctions if a strict "anti-gay" law that he did not prefer was not repealed:

"In total, the U.S. Government invests nearly $1 billion annually in Uganda's people, business, institutions, and military to advance our common agenda. The scale of our commitments speaks to the value we place on this partnership – and our faith in the people of Uganda to build for themselves a better future. It is my sincere hope that we can continue to build on this progress, together, and strengthen protections for the human rights of people everywhere," Biden said in a White House news release.

As noted by Arielle Del Turco, the reality is the far-left social agenda pushed by the Biden administration in the military and other walks of American life doesn't stop at America's loosely protected borders.

Ironically, this Biden agenda has been in motion since he was elected president and appointed Antony Blinken as Sec. of State.

"Recently confirmed Secretary of State Antony Blinken is committed to immediately placing LGBTQ rights into the United States foreign policy once again."

The Senate confirmed Blinken with overwhelming bipartisan support 78-22 on January 26.

At his hearing, Blinken told Senator Edward Markey (D-Massachusetts) there would be a U-turn for U.S. foreign policy.

In 2019, Markey, an LGBTQ ally, introduced the GLOBE Act (H.R. 3874, S. 3004), which aims to build a framework to protect LGBTQ rights worldwide through U.S. diplomacy.

Blinken was direct and clear in his goals to fill the vacant Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBTI Persons position and elevate it to an ambassador role, repudiate the Commission on Unalienable Rights, and allow embassies to again fly the rainbow flag during Pride Month.

These actions are not passive political leanings. They are hardcore attempts to extend Obama's agenda to "remake" America---remake it into the global banner carrier for the LGBTQ+ agenda and the terminator of religious freedom as our Founding Fathers envisioned it and as we have known it.

Del Turco says, "With everything going on in the world right now, it is absurd that this would be a number-one priority for the State Department. But we even heard Secretary of State Antony Blinken say this himself LGBTQ issues are a top foreign policy priority."

He continues, "There's a role for the U.S. government to advance human rights abroad, widely recognized human rights that are enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that we would all agree on – the right to life, the right to religious freedom, the right to free speech, to the absence of slavery."

But Biden's LGBTQ interest is especially strong for African nations who traditionally oppose such measures, she explained.

NOTE: "The US State Department reports that according to the most recent census, conducted in 2014, 82 percent of the population in Uganda is Christian. The largest Christian group is Roman Catholic with 39 percent; 32 percent is Anglican, and 11 percent Pentecostal Christian. According to official government estimates, Muslims constitute 14 percent of the population."

"So, they will pick on these smaller, weaker African countries that have conservative cultures and are often dependent on foreign aid from Western countries," said Del Turco, "and they'll apply a great deal of pressure about advancing pro-LGBTQ policies in these countries.

"It's really a shame that the Biden administration is using their leverage in this way."

Takeaway

Some are noting that Biden has taken money from "PEPFAR," which was meant to combat AIDS/HIV in  Africa, to promote abortion and the homosexual agenda.

There is no restraint on the part of the president and his cohorts in his administration

2 Timothy 3:8 speaks of men who have "depraved minds."

Joe Biden claims to be a devout catholic, yet he pushes ungodly policies, such as abortion, and withholding $$ from nations that have Godly policies. A blindness engulfs their minds until they love the deceptive policies and philosophies of the world; they are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth... (2 Timothy 3:7). Pray for Ugandan leaders and citizens and other nations that stand for God's word.

Pray for America.
