A vocal defender of the State of Israel says nobody should be surprised the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) killed a top Iranian general in an April 1 airstrike. Still, he also concedes war drums keep beating all across the Middle East.
It's obvious Israel has no plans to back down from attacking its enemies that want to wipe the State of Israel off the map.
Some experts say they expect things to escalate to where we may have attacks inside the U.S.
Tehran says the United States “must be held accountable” for aiding the IDF in the attack.
It's time to be strong in the Faith, not fearful.

The airstrike in Damascus, Syria, which flattened an Iranian consulate building, killed a top Quds Force commander named Mohammed Reza Zahedi as well as other military officers, according to The Jerusalem Post.
Zahedi’s death marked a victory for Israel because he is the highest-ranking Iranian to die since the Israel-Hamas war began last October, the story said, but Iran has now vowed revenge against Israel and the U.S. because the airstrike hit embassy property in Damascus.
The airstrike on the Iranian consulate is a “breach of all international conventions,” Iran’s foreign minister told state media. He also sent that message to the US through a third party.
The Jerusalem Post reported, "Since December, Iran has admitted that more than 10 IRGC officers have been killed by alleged Israeli strikes in Syria."
The Post noted that the "most prominent was the killing on December 23 in a Damascus suburb of Seyed Radhi Mousavi, in charge of the IRGC’s logistics and military coordination in the Levant, meaning the transfer of Iranian weapons to Syrian and Hezbollah. In January, five IRGC officers were killed in a strike in Damascus, including the Quds deputy intelligence head in Syria."
Monday’s strike on Zahedi sends the message that no one -- even the most significant Iranian military official in the region -- is immune and that Israel’s policy now is to extract a heavy price from Iran itself, and not only from its proxies, for continued attacks on Israel.
Bob Maginnis, a military analyst at the Family Research Council, says that Israel took out Zahedi because he is overseeing Iran’s proxy war against Israel.
"Most of the public in the U.S., Maginnis says, "is unaware of Israel’s ongoing military attacks against its most dangerous Middle East enemy, Iran."
“Outside of Aleppo and Damascus,” he tells AFN, “you don't hear about those strikes, but they do take place.”
He says, "Israel’s air force, in fact, is continually bombing Syria and its Iran-backed Hezbollah fighters going back at least a decade. Those air attacks increased dramatically after last year’s Oct. 7 Hamas attack, such as the IDF bombing airport runways in Aleppo and Damascus to temporarily halt the resupply of weapons and envoys of Iranian military commanders."
Gary Bauer of American Values says it is obvious Israel has no plans to back down from attacking its enemies that want to wipe the State of Israel off the map.
“The Israeli government operates under a very important principle, and they will not be swayed away from it,” he says, “which is you can run but you can't hide.”
Suspecting the U.S. was involved in the April 1 airstrike, Tehran summoned a Swedish diplomat to pass along a message, which is the United States “must be held accountable” for aiding the IDF in the attack.
According to an Axios story, the IDF informed the Biden administration of the attack when military jets were on the way. The U.S. was unaware the target was part of Iran’s embassy compound, according to an unnamed U.S. official.
“I'm inclined to think that there is a huge confrontation coming, regardless of what happens in Syria or any place else,” he says. “The mullahs of Iran are committed to destroying Israel and every day they get closer to having a nuclear weapon.”
Bauer says the war is heading toward a breaking point.
Takeaway
Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3 says, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven... a time of war, and a time of peace."
Jesus said in Luke 21,
But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not yet.
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
