Consequences of Biden's Open Borders

The Jerusalem Post is reporting that Iran threatened US President Donald Trump that it would launch terror attacks from within the United States if he ordered strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.

NBC is also reporting that Iran reportedly threatened Trump at the G7 summit earlier this month and warned that the Islamic Republic could activate "sleeper cells" from within the US.

Additionally, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, a spokesperson for Iran's armed forces, said that hostile action by the United States expanded the scope of legitimate targets for Iran's armed forces.

Zolfaqari said the US should expect heavy consequences for its actions, referring to the  "sleeper cells" now embedded in the US, thanks in great part to President Biden's open border policies.

After this article was prepared yesterday for publication this morning, President Trump announced on Truth Social:

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED! Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World. During each CEASEFIRE, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL. On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, “THE 12 DAY WAR.” This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will! God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States of America, and GOD BLESS THE WORLD!

DONALD J. TRUMP

I'll be talking more about the Cease Fire on the radio this morning. Please join me.

"Mr. Trump, the gambler, you may start this war, but we will be the ones to end it," he said in English at the end of his recorded statement.

NBC News said this yesterday:

  • IRAN RESPONSE: The Iranian state television network IRIB reports that Operation Besharat al-Fath [ Glad Tidings of Victory],has been launched against the U.S. Al Udeid air base in Qatar. NBC News has not verified news of the strike.
  • ISRAEL HITS FORDO AGAIN: Israel launched further assaults throughout Iran today, hitting airports in western, eastern and central Iran as well as the notorious Evin prison in the capital, Tehran.
  • IRAN-RUSSIA TALKS: The Iranian foreign minister met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom he said Iran will coordinate its response to the U.S. and Israeli strikes.
  • WARNING FROM IRAN: Before the U.S. strikes, Iran had warned President Donald Trump that it might activate terrorist "sleeper cells" inside the U.S. if it were attacked, sources said.
  • REGIME CHANGE: In a break with members of his administration, Trump appeared to call for a change in Iranian leadership, saying in a social media post yesterday, "Why wouldn’t there be a Regime change?"
  • HUNDREDS KILLED: Israeli strikes have killed at least 400 people in Iran and injured 3,000 in the 10-day conflict, according to the Iranian Health Ministry, while Iran’s retaliatory strikes have killed at least 24 in Israel.

Fox News said yesterday afternoon, "‘Open borders’ under Biden could help Iran retaliate with US terror sleeper cells:  Homeland Security bulletin warns of heightened threat environment after successful elimination of nuclear facilities."

With the regime's nuclear program severely set back, and its infrastructure bombarded during Israel's operation, one former FBI boss told Fox News Digital that Iran and its proxies could resort to their original tactic -- terrorism. And the border crisis under the Biden administration only exacerbates the threat of terror cells in the U.S. activating to harm Americans at home.

"The likelihood of violent extremists in the Homeland independently mobilizing to violence in response to the conflict would likely increase if the Iranian leadership issued a religious ruling calling for retaliatory violence against targets in the Homeland," the bulletin states.

"It is our duty to keep the nation safe and informed, especially during times of conflict," the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "The ongoing Israel-Iran conflict brings the possibility of increased threat to the homeland in the form of possible cyberattacks, acts of violence, and antisemitic hate crimes."

Fox also published this:

Over 1,200 Iranian nationals reportedly entered the U.S. during former President Joe Biden’s time in office, White House border czar Tom Homan told Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures."  The threat of foreign nationals flowing into the U.S. raises concerns regarding possible domestic sleeper cells driven by foreign terrorist organizations, according to national security experts.

"The challenge that the United States has had after a very long period of time, [is that] we had an open border," Michael Balboni, former Homeland Security advisor for New York state and a cybersecurity expert, told Fox News Digital. "Tens of millions of people came across and we don't know who they are, where they came from, what their capabilities are or their intentions."

The possibility of foreign cells carrying out a domestic terror plot was pushed into the national spotlight last year after federal prosecutors announced a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and two U.S. nationals were arrested for allegedly plotting to murder then-President-elect Trump and a U.S. citizen critical of the Iranian regime.

"The Iranians have shown a pretty good capability in terms of their intelligence apparatus and their operatives being able to work clandestinely," Balboni said. "They are fairly sophisticated when it comes to that, very determined. The question is how many are in the country and the answer is we don't know."

What are the consequences of Biden's open borders?

"We don't know."

Most true experts say, "What we do know is that they’re not going to quit. They will never quit. And this was the right thing to do to destroy their nuclear capabilities."

We also know that in May of 2024, there were 170,716 Southern Border encounters.

In May of 2025, there were 12,030.

President Trump has all but closed the border, but we have yet to learn the consequences of Joe Biden's presidency.

The New York Post said yesterday, "Customs and Border Protection is warning agents about possible terrorist 'sleeper cells' in the US after more than 700 Iranian nationals were let into the US after crossing illegally under the Biden administration, according to a leaked memo obtained by The Post."

The Post also said, "Iranian migrants are considered to be 'special interest aliens' and are supposed to undergo additional vetting by the feds for possible terrorism ties."

Under the Biden administration, over 1,500 Iranian migrants were caught crossing the border illegally, and nearly 50% of them were released into the US, according to Fox News.

CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott cited “Iran’s hatred for the United States and their desire to harm America and Americans” in Saturday’s memo to border agents.

“Over the past four years, thousands of Iranian nationals have been documented entering the United States illegally, and countless more were likely in the known and unknown go-tos,” Scott wrote.

On Sunday, the Department of Homeland Security issued a terrorism alert that warned officials to be on the lookout for Iranian-led attacks over the next three months by terror cells inspired to retaliate following Saturday night’s strike.

The FBI similarly warned that Iran has a history of targeting US interests, “and they are likely to increase their efforts in the near term,” the New York Times reported.

On Monday, Iran launched a missile attack at the US military base near Doha, Qatar. However, the Iranians reportedly warned of the attack in advance, and all the projectiles were shot down before reaching their targets.

Takeaway

In the coming days, fear will grip the hearts of many who do not lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus Christ.

These days are uncertain and can be terrifying.

In the last letter that Paul wrote before he would be beheaded for the sake of the Gospel, he told young Pastor Timothy in II Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Earlier, Paul had written to the Roman Christians (Romans 8:15): "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father."

Psalm 91:1 reminds us, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

Be mindful, but not fearful.

"In God I have put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do to me" (Psalm 56:11).

Be Informed. Be Discerning. Be Vigilant. Be Engaged. Be Mindful. Be Prayerful.
