China Is Infiltrating Our Public Classrooms--Here's How

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Last year, when the University of North Carolina opened its new "Confucius Institute," it was with a great amount of fanfare.

"This," the university said, "will help students be better equipped to succeed in an increasingly globalized world."

Chinese government funded "Confucius Institutes" are being opened in public universities and high schools, across the US.

You've heard the phrase, "You can't tell a book by its cover?"

Well, you can't.

Biden Quietly Covers For China

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

This week the Biden administration quietly withdrew a rule proposed by the Trump administration that would have required American schools and universities to disclose their partnerships with China's Confucius Institutes---which are fronts for the Chinese Communist Party.

Why would Biden want to keep those partnerships in the dark?

For the same reasons Obama did. And there may be a couple of other reasons as well.

Shouldn't parents be aware of the Institute's pervasive influence on their child's campus?

Apparently not in the mind of the Left.

Stunning: Chinese Gov't. Funded Confucius Institutes On WA State Campuses For Propaganda Purposes

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

The National Associations of Scholars (NAS) has released a new report called "Outsourced To China" which reveals that the Chinese government has been planting teaching and research centers known as "Confucius Institutes" on campuses across the US.

The purpose of the centers is to spread propaganda on US campuses.

Seattle Public Schools and the University of Washington have signed an agreement with the Ministry of Education of China (Hanban) allowing these "Confucius Institutes" to operate.

NAS has found reason for concern.

How China Is Controlling US Classrooms

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Professors at elite US universities say they will turn to using code names and warning labels to protect students.

China's newly created "national-security" law that they imposed on Hong Kong, is now being extended to American college campuses.

Schools are now weighing measures to try to shield students and faculty from prosecution by Chinese authorities.

Here's how it works.

State Requires Pastors To Preach Confucius

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Christian pastors across China are now being required to preach Confucius and Christianity, making favorable comparisons in their sermons and their teaching.

Very disturbing.

However, the same kind of State mandate is being practiced here in America. Recent laws demand that Christians and Christian pastors reconcile biblical teaching and biblical morality with the homosexual agenda, or face the force of new laws designed to punish the "intolerant"--- those who do not conform.

China Marching Through The Halls Of US Education. Again.

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

A Chinese government program at 83 U.S. colleges is part of an “ongoing effort to influence American students’ perceptions of the communist country,” according to a recent report by a conservative watchdog group.

The Young Envoys Scholarship (YES) is an international exchange initiative launched by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2024 to bring 50,000 U.S. students to study in or visit China for cultural exchange, according to the Defending Education report.

It is “run by the China Education Association for International Exchange, an organization guided by ‘Marxism-Leninism’ and Xi Jinping's Thoughts on Socialism,” the report states.

China Now Spreading Deception...And Virus

"The world must look to China, pay attention and follow its principles in order to halt the global spread of the coronavirus"---according to the official Communist China Daily newspaper and website.

In conjunction with this demand, China has hacked into websites in America and Europe and are deliberately spreading panic with misinformation.

China Targets Africa in Re-Education Campaign--- Why it Matters

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

For a number of years, China was focused on opening Confucius Institutes on American campuses across the country ---from the University of Washington to the Eastern seaboard. The Chinese Communist Party claimed the institutes were merely an attempt to better acquaint American students with China's rich history and culture.

That was a lie.

Conservatives in Congress and elsewhere soon figured out what they were up to and began threatening to cut funding to the schools hosting these indoctrination institutes.

There are only about 10 left in the US and 530 worldwide.

Now the Communists are forging a new path to achieve the same ends with their initial primary focus on Africa---rather than the US.

That will come later.

AXIOS, not a conservative news organization, is sounding the alarm.

When The State Deems The Church "Subversive"

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Millions of Christians will attend their church services this Sunday online. Their pastor will be streamed, most often from an empty sanctuary.

It could be worse.

A house church pastor in China has been arrested for refusing to join the Communist Party's state-sponsored Christian Church organization. His church is also empty this Sunday, as he sits in jail.

The charge is "inciting subversion of state power."

When does the state overreach it's authority regarding the church?

US Attorney General William Barr says he will take legal action against any state officials who violate people's civil rights---including religious freedoms.

"Move Over Moses"--Manhattan Has New Satanic Female Lawgiver

A new, golden idol of abortion stands on top of a New York City courthouse this month, a reminder of the religiosity with which abortion activists defend the mass slaughter of babies in the womb.

The “NOW” statue also hints at the satanic: a naked, eight-foot-tall golden woman with braids fashioned into horns coming out of her head as she emerges from a pink lotus.

The New York Times featured the new lawgiver that now sits atop the New York City Courthouse--beside Moses.

Sesame Street Debuts "ABCs Of Racial Literacy"

First Netflix said it is developing kids programming around racial justice.

Now the people behind Sesame Street are following suit, with race-based content aimed at children of all ages, including infants.

The point is, we don't trust the entertainment and educational complex.

China: "Asian Era Coming Post-Trump"

Associated Press is reporting that China landed its third probe on the moon Tuesday, and yesterday began gathering rocks from the moon surface to bring back to earth for further study.

AP says "China's ruling Communist Party"..."wants global influence to match China's economic success."

China has already colonized American public education through their Confucius Institutes on our campuses---now they plan to unify Asia while colonizing space.

How would a beholden Joe Biden play into that plan?

Probably very well.

Supreme Court--Weighed, Found Wanting

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
Friday, a bare minimum majority (5-4) of the US Supreme Court said they, rather than God, the American people and human history know best what marriage should be.

Chief Justice Roberts, in his dissent with the majority, said the Court "stole the issue from the people" and that the decision was based on homosexual activism "not the Constitution."

Justice Scalia in dissent said, "The opinion is couched in a style that is pretentious as its content is egotistic."

Justice Clarence Thomas and Scalia said they, in their dissent, wanted to call attention to the Court's threat to American Democracy."

In the tradition of infamous Old Testament King Belshazzer, the highest Court in our land has been weighed in the balances and found wanting by God, the American people and our Constitution.

Now, the candidates who would be president must be weighed as to how they view marriage and biblical morality.

Is the Church and her response to this moral collapse also being weighed in the balances?

How should we respond? Two actions you can take today.

Chinese Communist Party Has Infiltrated Corporate America

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Last week we learned that Democrat Congressman Swalwell has had a long term romantic relationship with Christine Fang (a.k.a.) Fang Fang. Fang, we learned, is a Chinese Communist Party spy.

Some of our people working in intelligence suspect there may be as many as 70,000 women working for the Chinese Communist Party in similar roles.

Now we've learned through a leaked database that China's Communist Party has created a "mass infiltration of American companies---with serious national security implications."

The "infiltrated" companies include Boeing, Qualcomm, Pfizer, IBM, 3 M, and many, many others.

When this is put up beside the Biden family's cozy relationship with China, it's time to take a closer look at what needs to be a "wake-up call."

Ranking Republican Member of the House Intelligence Committee, Devin Nunes, said yesterday their investigations have found that China's malign influence is deepening across corporate America.

There is a growing concern in the US that Nike is dependent on Uyghur slave labor in China for Nike products.

In his attempt to convince Wall Street that everything is under control in China, Nike CEO Joe Donahoe told them this week that "Nike is a brand that is of China and for China."

Rep. Nunes says Americans have got to be informed because of the depth of China's control of corporate America.

An Imperfect Union-- and "Its Original Sin"

United States Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield, told an activist group last week that the US is seeking to rejoin the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), but our attempt to rejoin, after President Trump withdrew, will "have to be done with humility" given America's history.

The Wall Street Journal editorial board took issue saying her comments about "humility" assume a false moral equivalence between the US and UNHRC, whose members are among the most morally corrupt in the world.

And about the "original sin"--- forgiveness and restoration.

Social Issues vs. Fiscal Issues

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
If you have not done so, please participate in our Patty Murray survey. It's interesting to watch the percentages remain somewhat constant while participation continues very strong.
______________

Following the November 2008 election, Secretary of State Sam Reed wrote an op-ed piece strongly suggesting that in order to win, the Republican Party should move away from the so-called "social issues" that have become divisive. He pointed to himself and Attorney General Rob McKenna as examples.

Last week, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, (R.) said the next president, "Would have to call a truce on so-called social issues."

Can social issues and fiscal issues really be divorced from one another in regard to the health and well being of our country and communities?

Our Founding Fathers certainly did not believe that, nor have our truly outstanding leaders and presidents over our 200 plus year history.

It's a fact that the out of control spending and debt created by our government, regardless of motive, is for the most part directed toward social problems.

While so-called "moderates," which I think means you kind of believe in things and kind of don't believe in things, promise to reduce the size of government as a fiscal conservative, while not addressing the so-called hot button social issues, are promising to address big government without addressing the conditions that allows big government to thrive and grow.

Are they oblivious to the fact that it is the moral breakdown in our cultural that has caused millions of Americans to look to government and ultimately depend on government for their very existence?

We live in an era of Dependency.

Phyllis Schlafly has written an excellent column on this matter.

She says, "In the not-to-distant past, we had a society where husbands and fathers were the providers for their families. The 1.7 million out-of-wedlock babies born last year (41 percent of all births) and their unmarried moms, now look to Big Brother as their financial provider."

Schlafly says, "The decline of marriage is not only the biggest social problem America faces today, but also government's biggest financial problem."

She points to the 1965 Moynihan Report on how welfare handouts destroy families by giving financial handouts to women, thereby making husbands and fathers irrelevant, as perhaps the most prophetic government report ever written.

So many financial incentives have been written into federal appropriation laws that incent and promote cohabitation, rather than marriage, that the government has become a significant part of the problem. And has transferred power to those who hand out the money.

Even Obamacare contains a marriage penalty and incentives co-habitation.

The number of unmarried, co-habitating couples has gone from 430,000 in 1960 to 6.8 million in 2008. And no, homosexual marriage is not part of the solution.

The decline of natural marriage is a major cause of the growth of our welfare state.

This year taxpayers are spending $350 billion to support single moms. Should they be abandoned? Absolutely not. But if the state didn't demand to be so "separated" from the church, much could happen to help ease this issue, while addressing the root problem of restoring and strengthening natural marriages.

Can a candidate who recommends ignoring such issues be capable or even fit for public office in America?

Additional costs, perhaps billions of dollars, are spent on social problems related to teenage crime, drugs, STDs, teen pregnancies, runaways and school drop outs. These additional expenses are most often related to households headed only by a female.

Political correctness makes us silent. Afraid to speak. And we keep throwing money at the symptoms, rather than addressing the "so-called social issues": While the government grows under the guise of doing good, and the people's freedoms are diminished.

The secular progressives allow this problem to evolve and expand, while they gather power by spending and controlling more and more money---all without remedy or cure for those they claim to help.

You should know, 70% of unmarried women voted for Obama. Why? Probably because he and his people represented the biggest handouts.

Abortion is another social issue that impacts the economy. I personally oppose it on biblical grounds. "Thou shalt not kill." However it has a negative impact on the economy.

Our grave problems are both social and fiscal.

Are these so-called moderates running from morality, Judeo-Christian values upon which this country was publicly built or history itself?

Good grief. Even Confucius called natural marriage "The foundation of civilization."

Moderates are willing to stand by while marriage, morality, and life itself is undermined, redefined and diminished, saying, "we should sit this out---let's call a truce on these social issues." And they claim money and their elitism will fix things.

As you consider who you will vote for in a number of political races this year, keep in mind, those who feel abandonment of the social issues of our day is a good strategy, they are telling you they are only willing to address the symptoms---not the causes.

Our problems are not academic, as our President is discovering, they are social and fiscal and moral. A true leader will understand this.

Those who promote "sitting it out" on the real issues, are at best smitten by self ambition and ignorance---and at worst are part of the problem, not the solution.

Be very vigilant with your vote. Be wary of those who refuse to address social issues. Run from those who suggest ignoring them or "trucing them".

Be Vigilant. Be Discerning. Be Prayerful. Be Active. Be Blessed.

God bless you.

China Re-Introduces It's "Little Red Book"

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

The Communist Party of Guangxi, China, launched a campaign this month to pressure citizens to carry around a “little red book” of dictator Xi Jinping’s cult ideology, “socialism with Chinese characteristics,” greatly escalating with the publication of a video on social media this week showing citizens reading communist propaganda to toddlers.

Much like public school activists in America reading transgender materials to kindergarteners.

This is not a new effort by Communist China. It's a "renewed effort"---a new version of Mao's little red book.

I'm certain, in a matter of days, the newly minted "Little Red Book" will be showing up on American campuses.

Communist China On Our Doorstep

The Wall Street Journal published an informative and concerning article last week explaining how China is in the last stages of an agreement with Cuba.

The Journal said, "China and Cuba are negotiating to establish a new joint military training facility on the island, sparking alarm in Washington that it could lead to the stationing of Chinese troops and other security and intelligence operations just 100 miles off Florida’s coast, according to current and former U.S. officials."

Is Capitalism Compatible With Christianity?

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
This past weekend I stopped by a blueberry farm to pick up a couple of boxes of fresh blueberries.

I got my blueberries and a whole lot more.

In the building located on the farm where customers come to buy the berries, the radio was playing Christian music. I told one of the young guys working there I liked the music. And asked, "Where do you go to church?"

He said he went to an evangelical Lutheran church, but the family who owns the farm go to the Romanian church and quickly introduced me to one of the owners. We said hello. I told him I liked and appreciated the music.

He said, "Don't I know you?" After a moment of conversation he said, "I grew up watching your television program. My parents had it on every morning."

His parents had fled Romania because of the persecution of Christians. They had come to America seeking religious freedom and a better life for their family.

He asked if he could show me something--I said "sure." In an adjoining room in the building about 15 to 20 teenagers were sorting blueberries as they bumped along the sorting table. He said these were kids from the youth group at their church and that they were earning money to pay for a mission trip later this summer. He said they were also earning extra money to take with them to give to the people they are going to minister to.

He said I was so thankful to live in America. He said his family has been able to give a great deal of money to their church, the youth ministries and to foreign missions.

He said, "Capitalism is the friend of Christianity, you can't do this in other countries."

Is Christianity and free market capitalism compatible?
