As we celebrate our Declaration of Independence and the resulting unparalleled freedoms and prosperity America has experienced, we are mindful that those freedoms are under attack.
Abraham Lincoln once said, "America will never be destroyed from outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
Lincoln also said, "To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men."
This is not a time for people of faith and conservatives to be silent.
God Bless You and God Bless America,

ReplyDeleteHarder than diamond against sin
Tender toward the sinner
Whose life's been but a cinder
There's a glory to be seen
For those who will come clean
A manifest power of God
A joy that can be got
New life to be had too
For all this world's fools
Who have turned their heart to him
Whose flesh and blood will be their gin
By his Spirit they have been caught
And being filled, there'll be no
drought
A nation God will win
His truth will take them in
Gary yes its not a time to be silent, but speaking Bibical principles without doing and allowing God to to use us in helping those in need is no different then those who would re distribute what others have worked for. believer or not.
ReplyDeleteIts time to seek those who need our help , trust In God , be more concerned with helping those and sharing the Love of God.
God would have some of us to be part of the political conversation I am sure, but people of faith can be as wrong on a political issue as a pagan. We need Belivers who acknowledge that it is only the Grace of God that makes a difference in our lives , not our spirtual superiority.
We were told we would do the greater things that Christ did when he walked on this earth, heal the sick , feed the hungry, not be a political beacon .
Homosexuals are deceived , they are not to be pitted against the church as an enemy . If the light hurts their eyes , just walk away and move on to who will accept and treasure the gift of God. The results and Justice will be the Lord's to give, not for us to provide the justice.
Revival is coming , be part of it my friend. The world is need of a savior and Lord, no different then two thousand years ago. God's Kingdom has always been built from the bottom up.
