Obama's Fool's Gold

Remember when so-called pro-life Congressman Bart Stupak made his stand for life, was praised by many, then caved in to President Obama and led 5 other Democrats, including Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper from Pennsylvania, to drop their noble stand for life and vote for, ensuring passage, of Obamacare.

Why? Because the President promised them there would be no taxpayer funded abortions. Even promising to sign an executive order to that effect. An executive order that seemed to be of no concern to abortion leader Planned Parenthood.

Now we know what most of us knew then. Sometimes the truth escapes the President.

That was then, this is now.

On June 28, the federal government approved rules governing $160 million in federal tax money for a "high risk" insurance program that will---cover just about any abortion before the 24th week of pregnancy.

And this is happening in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Dahlkemper's home state.

The Washington Times published a column which covers the matter fairly well. Please read the link for details.

The National Right to Life Committee has produced a study that absolutely proves that tax payer money will pay for abortions. And they say it isn't through a "loop hole" in Obamacare, "It's a canyon you can fly O Force One through."

In that the program is completely funded by federal monies, not state monies, the federal government has avoided the state law (3215c) making state law not applicable.

The Times calls Obama's promise "fools gold."

Remember when Rev. Wright said he felt he had been thrown under the bus?

If Rep. Dahlkemper looks up this fall, she too, may see the under side of the "bus".

The Times points out that many of her future constituents won't even be born now, as a result of this program. And concludes, "That's a pretty dark legacy for a congressional freshman who campaigned as a pro-lifer."

It is also a dark legacy that we Americans elected this kind of leadership.

However, we cannot imagine the darkness, should we not make major changes in the upcoming elections.

God help us.

  1. God is listening to us and watching. Many in the church are now awake. I believe we will begin to make our voices heard again this fall, and God willing, we can reverse this disastrous course Obama and his minions have put us on.

  2. Shame on us for not fighting harder
to stop the genocide! Do the people who vote for such evil not see how close they came to not being born? Think of all the lost great ideas, productivity and joy the aborted would have brought to our lives. It's heartbreaking and must bring tears to the Lord's eyes. There will be a reckoning,God is not mocked! Shame,Shame

  3. Let's all write the president again, reminding him once more that abortion isn't health care.

  4. ...and why should any president be in charge of everybody's health care?

I assume that in the new health care law, there is provision for any president to be over everyone's health care, because in it there is a provision for the president to have his own private army.

So, I wonder how this will work...
If somebody should need health care but is refused the treatment, I suppose the president can muster up all of his forces to force the people who
administer the treatment...or do I have it backwards?

  5. It seems to me that if a private citizen wanted to write up a proposal for a bill in hopes that it might become law, and included in it abortion as healh care, and that he would be authorized to organize and lead a private army under his control, that he would be told that such a proposal is not constitutional, and that abortion isn't health care, and that he would have to re-write it and be very careful in the wording of it.

So why is it that we see such liberality with the president's health care deal?

Is there a double standard in our government?

  6. I wonder what chapter of the constitution the president got this health care deal out of.
