Voter Fraud. "It Never Happens." Really?

I questioned a few things when Dino Rossi lost to Gregoire a few years ago and was assured by a Republican Secretary of State such things never happen.

When someone questions a national election result, the response usually goes something like this: "A person casting two votes gets jail time and a fine for minimal gain. Proven voter fraud, statistically, happens about as often as death by lightening strike."

Lightening is striking multiple times in multiple places.

The President announced in his State of the Union address Tuesday night that he is creating a non-partisan commission, "to improve the voting experience in America."

That could mean different things to different people. Especially when we discover that one of the two lawyers that will lead this improved voting experience is none other than Bob Bauer.

John Fund in the National Review says the "voter fraud that never happens keeps coming back."

Lightening is striking in a number of places. He cites a situation in Cincinnati.

The Hamilton County Board of Elections is investigating 19 possible cases of voter fraud that occurred during the 2008 presidential election.

Democrat Melowese Richardson, a poll worker for the past 25 years, told TV CH 9 news last week that she voted for Obama twice.

This is how CH 9 summarized the story:

"According to county documents, Richardson’s absentee ballot was accepted on Nov. 1, 2012 along with her signature. On Nov. 11, she told an official she also voted at a precinct because she was afraid her absentee ballot would not be counted in time.

'There’s absolutely no intent on my part to commit voter fraud,' said Richardson. . . .

The board’s documents also state that Richardson was allegedly disruptive and hid things from other poll workers on Election Day after another female worker reported she was intimidated by Richardson. . . .

During the investigation it was also discovered that her granddaughter, India Richardson, who was a first time voter in the 2012 election, cast two ballots in November."

Richardson says she has done nothing wrong. She says, "I'll fight for Mr. Obama and for Mr. Obama's right to sit as President of the United states."

Wow!

Which is the civil right? Voting multiple times or being President.

Matthew Vadum writes for Front Page, "Some Americans believe they are entitled to vote more than once in order to exact revenge against a society they feel did them or their ancestors wrong. Some left wingers say that election fraud is justifiable because in a sense it compensates the poor for having little political power."

He also documents a number of other voter fraud cases presently being investigated.

Vadum points out that Richardson is active in an ACORN like local organization called, "Communities United for Action."

CUA is part of a larger Saul Alinsky inspired organizing network named "National People's Action."

NPA is very up front with their mission to overthrow what remains of the free enterprise system in America.

They were very active in this past national election from providing hecklers at Romney, Ryan events to providing action plans for other disruptions, including some on election day.

Interestingly, in 2010, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave them $25,000 to indoctrinate public school kids regarding global warming.

George Soros, the ultimate far left, secular progressive billionaire is a major funding source of NPA. He has given $300,000 in the past two years.

The Chicago based Woods Fund, whose board of directors have included both Barack Obama and terrorist Bill Ayers, has given the NPA $421,000 in the past 2 years. As a side note, Barbara Streisand gave them $10,000.

President Obama, in his State of the Union address Tuesday, announced that he is creating a commission "to improve the voting experience in America."

One wonders what exactly he means by that. He said it was so folks wouldn't have to stand in line for eight hours in order to vote. Maybe in some cases the folks are voting so many times it just takes a little longer, who knows?

However, when we learn that Bob Bauer will be one of the two lawyers appointed to head up the voter improvement project, it causes concern.

Bauer has a history. He has consistently asked the Department of Justice to prosecute Obama critics in 2008 who ran ads regarding Obama's relationship with terrorist Bill Ayers. He also wanted the television stations that carried the ads charged.

Bob Bauer has been instrumental in filing suit after suit after suit to keep Obama's personal papers that would expose some of Obama's radical roots in college and following from becoming public.

Bauer is married to Anita Dunn. Remember her? She was Obama's White House director of communications. She left the job after being pressured for often quoting Mao and his philosophy, including to school children.

So what is meant by "improving the voting experience in America?"

We'll see. It certainly doesn't mean anything close to voter ID.
