New Campaign-- "No Gender December"

An international campaign is under way this Christmas season called, "No Gender December."

The campaign advocates that consumers should buy more "inclusive gender neutral toys."

Why is this important to those promoting the campaign?

Dr. Rebecca Hains says, "'No Gender December' is to encourage children to shop whatever toys interest them, without defining them as 'boys or girls toys'."

Why is Dr. Hains and others around the world promoting gender neutrality this Christmas?

And what do they hope to accomplish with this campaign?

When pressed, Dr. Hains told those on Fox and Friends that it is "not really about making things truly gender neutral, but more about marketing."

I don't believe her.

A lot of other people don't believe her either.

This is another example of how secularists respond when called out on their outrageous attempts to remake the culture.

When confronted, the professor who required his students to recite a perverted version of the Pledge of Allegiance said, "Oh, it was just a silly ice-breaker for the class"---Gruber, the architect of Obamacare who repeatedly said it was important to mislead the American public in order to pass Obamacare, noting that the American people are "stupid" said when called out this week, "Oh, I'm sorry, I was not politically astute in my comments," apologizing for getting caught saying what he really believes about the American people.

And the march goes on and on and on.

Penny Nance, head of Concerned Women of America, doesn't believe Dr. Hains either.

She said, "There's a big difference between making everything available and letting them go to their own interests and trying to create this gender-neutral child."

Nance said that is very frightening.

It is.

Because this is about more than "a marketing plan" to sell more toys.

The National Review is also expressing concern about the campaign. They are quoting a senator from Australia, where the campaign was first launched, who is saying, "Children shouldn't have to conform to gender stereotypes that have horrible consequences, including domestic violence."

Does defining the roles of male and female really create domestic violence?

The Senator says "Yes."

She says, "Out dated stereotypes about girls and boys and men and women perpetuate gender inequality which feeds into very serious problems such as domestic violence and gender pay gap."

She and the company that launched the campaign (Play Unlimited) cite the United Nations related World Health Organization as the source for this preposterous notion that defining gender creates domestic violence.

Australia's Prime Minister Tony Abbot doesn't buy it either. He says, "I certainly don't believe in that kind of political correctness. Let boys be boys and girls be girls---that's always been my philosophy."

That's been the philosophy for a lot of people for a very long time because it is fundamental biblical teaching dating back to Creation.

Clearly this campaign fits nicely into the narrative of the homosexual agenda.

While Play United may be merely trying to sell more toys---which I doubt, some who are supporting the "No Gender December" campaign have a different agenda.

Last year, Heather Ann Clements, former head of the theology department at Azusa Pacific University, a Christian University, "came out" in a sermon defending her "born that way" transgender lifestyle, announced her name change to a male name and used Scripture to affirm her behavior.

I wrote about it at the time.

As the homosexual community basks in recent victories, they are directing additional focus to so-called "transgender" rights.

Some time after Clement's announcement, Tyler O'Neil wrote an article for Christian Post in which he quoted Robert A. J. Gagnon extensively.

Dr. Gagnon, a professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, is highly respected as the foremost expert in biblical teaching on homosexuality.

In the article Gagnon says, "The writers of Scripture viewed any attempt at over riding one's birth-sex as abhorrent, a sacrilege against the structures of maleness or femaleness created by God, and ultimately a rebellion against the Creator who made our bodies."

He addresses, from Scripture, the arguments put forth using Scripture to affirm transgenderism and homosexual behavior.

Affirmation of the behavior is not only championed by secular progressives in the classroom and elsewhere, but by some on the religious left in churches.

This is an important article for every biblical Christian and every parent and grandparent. Please take a moment and read it.
