"The Great Leap Forward?" Are We There Yet?

The Left is obsessed with "making progress"---"making a great leap forward."

Obama dreamed of "remaking America," but his former vice president is much more aggressive in what he's calling America's "great leap forward."

The World Economic Forum has released a video in which they explain what they call the "Great Reset," predicting what human life will look like in the near future, and how technology will help us "better understand what it means to be human."

The "Great Reset" folks are saying, "We're getting past the last 10,000 years...trust us for a New World Order."

Let's take a closer look at what their "New World Order" will look like.

Be informed, not misled.

Pat Buchanan, who worked in the Reagan administration among other positions in government, has also been a lifelong political observer.

He wrote an article published yesterday in which he outlined how Biden's "Great Leap Forward" is a leap into socialism.

He's right, it is. It's into the world of Bernie Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, and Elizabeth Warren.

Beginning just 7 weeks into his presidency, Joe Biden signed a $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief bill. It passed without a single Republican vote.

You remember, it sent $1400 to most Americans, extended a $300 per week unemployment insurance boost which expires September 6, expanded the child tax credit for a year, and put $350 billion into state, local, and tribal relief.

This past weekend, a "bipartisan" group of senators, including Republican Mitch McConnell and 17 other Republicans, crafted a $1 trillion measure to repair and expand the nation's roads, bridges, ports, airports, and broadband.

If you even glance at the bill, it's breathtaking to see how much of the $1 trillion has nothing to do with "infrastructure."

Up next is a $3.5 trillion measure to remake America by expanding social and environmental programs, extend the reach of public education and government-paid healthcare, and climate change---the biggest win of all for the "progressives."

If these measures are passed into law, and it appears they will---some already have, Buchanan says:

"This would constitute the greatest leap forward toward socialism of any American president, with Biden's only rivals being previous record-holders Franklin D. Roosevelt during the 1930s New deal and Lyndon Johnson's Great Society in the 1960s."

How does President Biden see it?

"The bi-partisan  Infrastructure Deal is the largest infrastructure bill in a century. It will grow the economy, create good paying jobs and set America on a path to win the future."

About the future from the minds of the futurists.

The World Economic Forum has released a video in which "authentic futurists" foretell what human life will look like after the so-called "Reset"

"Take a walk into the future," the globalist World Economic Forum (WEF) implored users on social media on Monday, as they presented the "Great Reset" technological "wonders" which will free humanity from manual labor in favor of work which requires 'understanding what it means to be human'."

Stuart Russell of the University of California, Berkley says in the video: "We're getting past the last 10,000 years where we've used humans, by and large, engaging only a tiny fraction of human abilities and forcing people into repetitive, tedious dead-end work for the most part."

"So the age of human robots is over," he declares, "and we have figure out a new age. That means dramatic changes to the structure of our economy and society."

Professor Amy Webb of New York University is predicting the increased use of editing genomes in order to "write a new code for life" and "redesign organisms for beneficial purposes."

She notes that that process has already begun with some of the coronavirus vaccines, which she noted; "make use of an engineered code in the form of messenger RNA."

She also predicts the use of "diminished reality glasses" which will enable the wearer to remove unwanted things from their view, such as "garbage or other people."

So, how does this relate to Biden's "Leap to Socialism?"

Humanists and socialists are taking the leap hand in hand.

In June of last year, the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, famously declared that the Chinese coronavirus was an opportunity for global governments to introduce a "Great Reset of capitalism."

The globalist German engineer argued that the "world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies."

This group, based in Davos,  involves some of the most wealthy and influential people in the world. They have been pushing this agenda for a number of years.

Back in 2016, they released a video predicting a "happy" future in which individuals no longer owned property.

And saying this: "Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city---or should I say 'our city'. I don't own anything. I don't own a car. I don't own a house. I don't own any appliances or any clothes."

More recently they have been hailing the benefit of "quieter" cities as a result of the coronavirus lockdowns which they say have been "improving cities around the world."

Their message is essentially, "Trust us! We're not evil, we're here to help you have a better life."

Who cares what they think?

If you're like me, you're probably thinking "Why should I care what these quasi-Marxists think? Or do?"

Here's why.

1. Some of their ideas are driving actual innovation in business and manufacturing. But more importantly, people of this mind are educating tens of millions of our children in government-run public education---K through university.

They are stealing our children.

The ideology of socialism has never succeeded. Ever. They are attempting to dismantle the most blessed, free, generous, and prosperous nation that has ever existed in the history of the world.

It isn't for the benefit of "the people" because it doesn't benefit people. Socialism inoculates people with a false sense of security until they become dependent and in bondage. Their "new age" involves a different kind of  "new slavery"---not the enhanced freedom and happiness they promise.

And it hands them unprecedented power.

Buchanan concludes his article with this: "If the terrain looks unfamiliar, that's because we are crossing a new continental divide. We are entering Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez country."

2. Every part of this "leap" or "reset" or whatever they choose to call it stands in absolute contradiction to God's plan for humanity. And to history.

These people, while claiming God doesn't exist, are trying to assume the role of God in both our economy and our culture. That didn't work out for Satan, and it won't for these folks. He was cast out, ultimately so will their plans collapse because they stand in absolute contradiction to God's plan and God's Word.

The first volume of Edward Gibbon's "The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" was published in 1776---the year we signed the Declaration of Independence.

Our Founders had a deep appreciation and understanding of the structure of the Roman Republic and used it as a model for the new country they were creating---with one exception.

Rome had many gods. The United States recognized one God. The God of the Bible. Almighty God Himself.

Founding Father Patrick Henry said:

"It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here."

He added, "It is when people forget God that tyrants forge their chains."

I agree with Buchanan, America is at a tipping point---but it isn't cultural or even political.

It's spiritual.

Daniel Webster, a second generation American, Congressman, statesman, and patriot told his colleagues in Congress:

"If Truth be not diffused, error will be; If God and His Word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain the ascendancy, If the evangelical volume does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will; If the power of the Gospel is not felt through out the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end."
