More Classroom Assaults on Christians and Republicans

Let's get real.

Thank the Lord, a growing number of our teenagers are doing just that.

We've all heard it before---Karl Marx taught if one can control what is taught in the classroom, one can control the culture and the country.

The practitioners of Cultural Marxism are at it again, using taxpayer funds to "educate" our children and grandchildren.

My high school age grandson emailed me the story of a high school teacher who created an assignment and worksheet which included the premise that "Republicans are opposed to helping the poor."

In another high school this week, teenagers were publicly shamed for disagreeing with speakers in the classroom who were advocating the homosexual---LGBT agenda, during an English class.

Teenagers are increasingly taking a public stand for biblical moral and social values---often at personal cost.

I hope adults can also find the courage to take a stand in their world---even if it costs something.

Heather, the mother of a 16-year-old, says she "was shocked and then I was very angry" when she saw the assignment their high school, Nathan Hale High School in West Allis, Wisconsin, had given her son.

The assignment listed a series of quotes and required students to identify which political party best represented each statement.

The first quote read, "We should not help the poor, it's a waste of money."

Heather says her son didn't know which political party that could possibly be, so he chose "E" for "Fascist."

When the assignment was returned, the answer was marked as incorrect and the teacher had written in the "correct" answer which was "Conservative/Republican."

Heather says her son asked her where she thought that statement would fit on the political spectrum. She said "nowhere" because she believed all political parties care about the poor.

After seeing the assignment, she was "shocked and angry." She called the school superintendent and inquired about it.

The school district issued a press release Monday saying students were "required to take a political spectrum quiz, which was not a quiz in the traditional sense with right and wrong answers; instead, the quiz asks survey questions......"

If there are no "right or wrong answers" on the political spectrum quiz, why did the teacher "correct" the student's answer regarding Republicans?

This is a profile of what Marx called cultural indoctrination.

Teenagers in a Lafayette, California high school were publicly shamed for disagreeing with speakers brought into the high school to push the LGBT agenda.

On January 29, during class time, the Queer Straight Alliance was allowed to teach 14 and 15 year old 9th graders on the virtues of being homosexual.

The kids were instructed to stand in a circle. They were then grilled about their personal beliefs and their parent's beliefs on homosexuality.

The QSA then had students step forward to demonstrate whether they believed that being gay was a choice and whether their parents would be accepting if they came out as gay.

Pacific Justice Institute, a Christian legal organization, has been brought into the matter by concerned and angry parents.

PJI says, "Students who did not step forward were publicly ridiculed and humiliated."

Brad Dacus, with PJI says, "Singling out students for ridicule based on their moral or political beliefs is a Marxist tactic that should have no place in the United States of America."

The homosexual activists asked the kids how they felt in regard to their own gender, telling them they may come to school one day feeling like a boy and another day feeling like a girl.

The students were given a terminology sheet which included words like "pan-sexual," "demi-boy" and "gray gender."

The instructors told the kids Demi-boy/girl is defined as someone who only partially identifies as a man or woman. Gray gender defines someone who feels as though they sort of fit inside the gender binary, but that their gender is more hazy and undefined.

The activists also gave the students a list of teachers who are homosexual with whom the students could have further private discussion.

Parents are livid.

But school Superintendent John Nickerson says its all about tolerance.

He says, "This was part of a tolerance workshop."

Has it come to this---forcing students to swear allegiance to moral perversion? And moral confusion? Led by the schools and teachers we fund?

Yes, it has. These are two most recent episodes. This flow of indoctrination is happening every day in some way in government run schools here in America.

It's not about "tolerance." It's about indoctrination.

But "tolerance" is a useful vehicle--a dishonest appeal to the goodness in people who want to do the right thing.

These 2 current events also reveal, again, the battle to usurp parental rights. The questioning of the California high school students as to what they believe and what their parents might believe---and how their parents might respond if they came out as gay, is nothing more than the ongoing attempt to drive a wedge between parent and child---to capture the mind and heart of the child.

Tolerance is no longer a virtue, it has been perverted to be nothing more than a vehicle to advance an agenda.

The definition of tolerance has been equivocated from the traditional meaning of "putting up with views not personally embraced or believed," to an act of affirming the "validity and equality of all viewpoints."

This new breed of tolerance is intolerant to all views that do not affirm and conform. It is especially intolerant to biblical Christian views and values.

This "New Tolerance" is a movement of hypocrisy.

Yet the "New Tolerance" movement created for the purpose of fundamentally remaking our culture is now being seen as archaic by those who created it---the homosexual movement.

Suzanna Walters, a professor at Northeastern University, popular author, lecturer and homosexual activist has written a new book released this past May titled, "The Tolerance Trap: How God, Genes, and Good Intentions are Sabotaging Gay Equality."

Her point? She contends that the "New Tolerance," created by homosexual advocates from the Karl Marx script, has become a "trap" rather than a vehicle of "progress."

She celebrates how much homosexual activists have accomplished in changing our culture, but complains that now "Tolerance has become a dead end," setting the bar too low for what the activists really want.

She says, "Tolerance is not the end goal, but a dead end."

In their own words they are now not merely seeking acceptance, but to be celebrated in some strange way.

Psalms 127:3 identifies God's value on our children. "Children are a heritage from the Lord."

And Deuteronomy 6:6-7 instructs the parent how he must invest in that heritage, "And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and you shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."

Neither the government run schools or the activists who have invaded those schools should be allowed to lay claim to your children. It is the parent's responsibility to rear a child in the way he should go.
