The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says in their new Arctic Report Card, "The Arctic is melting catastrophically. Sea levels are experiencing their most precipitous decline in 1500 years. Something must be done--and fast."
The scientists and significant climate models that NOAA and the mainstream science folks refuse to recognize are saying, "No it isn't." They say "NOAA is lying...again" to keep the grant money flowing.
In December, NOAA released its latest annual Arctic Report Card which says "scientists can sample ice cores, permafrost records, and tree rings to make some assumptions about the sea ice going back 1,500 years. And when you put all that on a chart, well, it looks a little scary."
Well, it does look scary as presented.
Jeremy Mathis, director of NOAA's Arctic research program, told the press, "The Arctic is going through the most unprecedented transition in human history. This year's observations confirm that the Arctic shows no signs of returning to the reliably frozen state it was in just a decade ago."
It is well documented that mainstream NOAA scientists block and marginalize scientists who discover "truth" about climate that does not affirm NOAA's assumptions. These scientists are often unable to have their research peer-reviewed, thus isolating their research from the public. And the scientific discourse.
There's even a name for it; "Suppressed Science."

The debate will continue. And it will continue to suppress science that doesn't support government-financed scientific results.
Ian Tuttle wrote an article for National Review titled, "The Calcification of Climate Science" that is as good as any explanation I've seen as to what is actually happening in the scientific community regarding climate.
In the article written in 2015, Tuttle addresses the problems of "getting rich off climate extremism" (Al Gore comes to mind), "Against Method," "The integrity of the scientific process," "How scientists and citizens who are dissenters are shamed and punished," and "how the establishment scientists exploit science to get government grants."
I strongly recommend you read it.
There is also the matter of religious fervor of Gaia worship, which is held by a number of secular progressives, and other forms of earth worship and pantheism.
The Bible clearly instructs us to be responsible "stewards" of God's Creation, not to worship it, which reveals the scientific inclination among some scientists to "be God."
It is written, "The Truth shall set you free."
