"Climate Change" Scientist Changes From Alarmist To Skeptic

Rex Fleming, a former senior scientist for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), has come clean.

He has left his life of peddling climate change alarmism to become a climate change skeptic.

His conversion was based on science.

Be informed.

How secularists view evangelical Christians regarding climate change.

Emma Frances Bloomfield, Assistant Professor of Communications at University of Nevada Las Vegas, has written a book and a recent article about how to engage people---particularly Christians--- who do not accept the "climate change" narrative and engage them in a "conversation." Which she hopes will be a conversion.

I don't agree with most of what Bloomfield has written, however, her comments this week provide a context in which to talk a little bit about what I do believe.

And her comments reflect that of many who see conservatives and evangelicals as a restraint to the radical environmentalist agenda---like the New Green Deal.

She wrote yesterday,
"In their second round of debates, Democratic presidential candidates called for aggressive measures to slow climate change. As Washington Gov. Jay Inslee has said, 'We are the first generation to feel the sting of climate change, and we are the last generation that can do something about it'."

Bloomfield quotes a 2018 Yale and George Mason University study that said "69% of Americans are at least somewhat worried about climate change"---the highest level of anxiety they have found since 2008.

In her article she claims,
"Christians tend to think environmentalism threatens their faith," "climate scientists use 'good causes to further evil agendas'," and she advocates "avoid relying on science" in your conversations about the environment."

Yes, she actually said that.

She says studies show "scientific evidence can strengthen an argument...But other studies show scientific facts can cause Christians to double down on their previously held beliefs."

The progressive way is to use whatever works to achieve the end result. If so-called "science" works. use it. If fear works, use it. If outright deception works, use it. The end is so noble, that it justifies any means used to achieve it.

Is the end goal to save the planet from burning up as Al Gore so graphically described, or is there something else involved in climate panic?

A senior NOAA scientist comes clean.

Rex Fleming is a mathematician with a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the U. of Michigan, has over 50 years of experience as a scientist and manager in weather and climate research and has published peer-reviewed papers from 1971 to 2018.

He now says, "Censoring evidence, 'fiddling' with data and silencing skeptics were a part of his life at NOAA." Fleming is now admitting that while he worked at NOAA, "he attributed global warming to carbon dioxide despite having doubts."

He says,
"Eventually I just read enough to realize it's a totally wrong direction" and now disavows the argument that "carbon dioxide from emissions is causing so-called catastrophic climate change on a global scale."

Barack Obama and the Left continue to claim that "climate science is settled," but it isn't.

Fleming says when he began to question the accepted line on climate change, he was immediately ignored by the media, who had quoted him for years, and was unable to get any of his work peer-reviewed.

He says those who deny the accepted narrative have so much evidence, but the global warming/climate change advocates bring essentially nothing to the table of research other than "hearsay," "media coverage" and "government people saying it's true."

In fact, he says climate scientists have literally turned the facts upside down---making their troubled theory into little more than science fiction.

He says, and other silenced scientists agree, that "carbon dioxide levels historically have risen due to warm temperatures rather than the other way around. Past climates have been warm and cold and warm and cold with no changes in carbon dioxide. How can that be a cause when there is no correlation?"

Why do the media and the climate science community silence anyone who believes differently?

Follow the money.

Fleming and other scientists who disagree with climate change madness say it's the money. "Ultimately, it's the money that keeps the climate change agenda steamrolling forward---crushing all truth that gets in the way."

He says,
"More scientists would abandon the theory, but they are in this groove of getting funds for huge, bigger computer systems to run these massive climate models. And they want their salaries to increase. They don't want to change; its a wonderful gravy train."

Fleming believes "there are those in the political arena who have bought the lie because it's useful for redistribution of wealth. He believes that the propagation of socialism is one of the greatest driving forces behind proponents of the 'man-caused-climate-change theory' as they continue to target the fossil fuel industry."

Jay Lehr and Tom Harris have written an excellent article titled: "How Al Gore Built the Global Warming Fraud, And Changed the Alarmism From Global Cooling, To Global Warming, to Now Climate Change." It's very informative.

My concern is that too many Christians are being misled by the Christian words and phrases that Ocasio-Cortez and her cohorts are injecting into their "Green New Deal."

Generally, Christians have taken a more biblically informed view of the climate change crises agenda, but several Christian (left) groups have recently come out in support of Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie and all the rest of the Democrat presidential candidates' New Green Deal.

AOC's "deal" calls for the US to move away from fossil fuels completely by 2030. That won't happen, but our country's economy will be destroyed in the process, and a few will make billions of dollars off the hoax.

The Young Evangelicals for Social Action are moving toward endorsing the "Deal," quoting Scripture to support the various elements in AOC's Green New Deal.

The United Church of Christ is endorsing it saying the Green New Deal is "what is needed to preserve and restore God's great gift of creation."

The Green New Deal is not an effort to preserve God's creation. It is a tool to advance socialism, empower far-Left politicians and enrich the few who lead it.

Do not be misled.
