We No Longer Have a Southern Border

We no longer have a southern border. There have been 5 to 7 million illegal aliens entering our country since Joe Biden took office.

Victor Davis Hanson says, "He intentionally destroyed immigration law for cheap political advantage. Nearly 50 million current residents were not born in the United States. Well over 20 million and perhaps 30 million are illegal aliens."

He notes that we finally found a solution in 2019-2020 with Trump's wall.

Be informed, not misled.

Davis continues, "Had we continued replacing rickety border fencing with an effective wall and then completed it along the entire border, had we stopped catch-and-release, had we continued demanding that refugee status be obtained before entry, had we forced Mexico and Central American governments to stop exporting human capital and subjected them to taxes on more than $60 billion in annual remittances (along with trade penalties) for their complicity with the situation at the border, had we continued to deport those who entered illegally, had we returned to assimilation and integration on the theory any who entered America did so because they wanted to become Americans, then a desired legal, meritocratic, and diverse immigration policy might easily have assimilated and absorbed perhaps 200,000 skilled and legal immigrants per year."

Again, we had the outlines of a solution and then simply destroyed it for liberal political agendas and cheap corporate labor.

We no longer have a southern border.

More than 1,500 migrants crossed the border from Mexico into Eagle Pass during the first six hours of Monday morning, according to the CBP. This shatters a record for the small Texas border town established last Friday when 1,300 migrants crossed the border in a single day.

Multiple sources within CBP told Breitbart that the 1,500 border crossers apprehended in Eagle Pass Monday morning forced the shutdown of the local migrant processing center. The shelter, designed to hold about 1,000 migrants, had already tripled its capacity, with more than 3,000 migrants detained on Friday. Officials are now preparing to hold the migrants outdoors and leadership is attempting to make plans for the overwhelming border surge.

As the sun came up Monday morning, migrants continued in smaller groups. Border Patrol agents moved the migrants to staging areas under the international bridge.

By mid-morning yesterday, a source said every Border Patrol agent in the area with a commercial driver’s license had been mobilized to move the migrants. More than 1,000 migrants were moved from the riverbank staging area. All of the 1,000 migrants held at the location south of the port of entry were removed by 9 a.m. Approximately 300-400 remained under the international bridge. Those are being tended to by EMT-trained border agents.

When the Biden Administration was asked about their plan to stem this growing tide of illegals, they didn't respond.

Then there was this:

FOX News sources captured a FerroMex train bursting with migrants out of Zacatecas heading to our southern border right now… "cheering and clearly not heeding the message: “Do not come.”

Why are we allowing this to happen to our country?

Front Page Magazine said yesterday, "Months before officials in New York City allowed migrants to displace students in public schools, or officials in Chicago turned O’Hare International Airport into a refugee center, the former general counsel for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services made a frightening prediction about illegal immigration."

“This is going to be a catastrophe for our healthcare system, our criminal justice system, our educational system,” Elizabeth Yore said in December. “We’re not going to recognize our society in two years. The crime and the chaos in the schools are going to be unimaginable. We are going to be paying for this for decades, generations.”

The fact that Yore, a conservative Catholic, made that criticism holds more than casual significance — especially since the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops effectively supports open borders.

Front Page states, "The USCCB uses taxpayer dollars to fund its human trafficking campaign, thereby enriching that body. But the payment it exacts for exploiting poor Latin American migrants exceeds the monetary."

Front Page concludes, "The bishops use immigration as a weapon to implement Pope Francis’ globalist vision, which demands the eradication of national identity and legitimate national self-interest. That explains the bishops’ vehement opposition to President Donald Trump and their failure to forge a united front against Joe Biden, one of Francis’ favorites."

It also explains the bishops’ breathtaking silence on such crimes as child trafficking, sex trafficking, and drug trafficking, and the prelates’ refusal to defend innocent Americans of all ethnicities against crimes perpetrated by illegal immigrants — including murder, as the “Angel Families” can attest.

Front Page gives an in-depth summary of the Catholic influence on immigration. It's worth the  5 minutes it takes to read the complete article.

They note that globalism is the ultimate goal.

In 2019, Francis expressed the papal commitment to globalism when the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences met:

“The nation-state cannot be considered as an absolute. In the current situation of globalization, the nation-state is no longer able to procure on its own the common good of its populations. The common good has become global and nations must affiliate themselves for their own benefit. When a supranatural common good is clearly identified, it necessitates a specific, legally and concordantly constituted authority capable of facilitating its fulfillment.”

In March 2021, during an interview to promote his book God and the World to Come, Francis said that a “new world order” must emerge from the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic:

“Let us all keep in mind that there is something worse than this crisis: the drama of wasting it. Instead, we can heal injustice by building a new world order based on solidarity, studying innovative methods to eradicate bullying, poverty and corruption, all working together, each for their own part, without delegating and passing the buck.”

That November, Francis reiterated that call to the Paris Peace Forum:

“Faced with the consequences of the great storm that has shaken the world, our conscience therefore calls us … not to follow the easy path of returning to a ‘normality’ marked by injustice, but to accept the challenge of assuming the crisis as ‘a concrete opportunity for conversion, transformation, to rethink our lifestyle and our economic and social systems. “

Takeaway

Maureen Mullarkey (yes, that's her last name), a conservative Catholic commentator, powerfully summarized the significance of their position.

“By admonishing voters to ‘humanize globalization,’ the bishops position themselves in the vanguard of a globalist world freed from competing national aims and interests,” she wrote. “To a clerical elite impatient for the withering away of the national state, an open border is the staging ground for an assault on citizenship and national sovereignty.”

This, of course, is an attack on God's plan for the national sovereignty of nations until Christ returns.
