Evangelicals And Gender Change---Stunning Survey

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Lifeway Research---a Christian organization---has found "Most Americans see nothing morally wrong with gender change."

About 6 in 10 Americans don't think it's morally wrong for people to identify with a gender different from their birth sex, and more than 50% don't think it's wrong to switch genders by taking hormones or having surgery.

In fact, they found "a majority of Americans reject the view of a creator giving them a gender that shouldn't be changed."

Response from evangelicals is stunning.

Michelle and Barrack- Defining Greatness

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

In her speech to the Democrats Monday evening, First Lady Michelle Obama said, "Right now this is the greatest country on earth."

Last week, speaking to the world at the White House Summit on Global Development, President Obama said, "We are living in the most peaceful" era in human history and that "the world has never been less violent."

The proverb reminds us that..."from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks?"

After these politically motivated words were mouthed---the abundance of their hearts spoke.

7+% Of Muslims In US: "Violence Sometimes Justified"

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Pew Research appeared to be trying to assure Americans when they reported in their newest survey that nearly 93% of Muslims in the US do not support violence.

Franklin Graham wrote in USA Today: "That is not to say that [about] 8% would actually strap on an explosives-packed vest, but the fact that so many find it justifiable is scary enough."

Obama is committed to 10,000 Syrian migrants by the end of our fiscal year---that's September 30.

As of Monday, 1,515 refugees have entered this month---99% were Muslim, 0.19% (3) were Christian and 0.72% (11) were "other."

Hillary and the religious Left are advocating for as many as 50 times that number.

This is a time to be informed. And be involved.

Kids Channel Introduces Bi-Racial "Married" Homosexual Couple---With A Child

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Variety magazine, one of the 2 most influential entertainment magazines in the industry, is announcing that 'Nickelodeon," the kid's TV channel, has introduced a bi-racial, homosexual "married" couple on their show "The Loud House."

This is a first for Nickelodeon---a network many parents have come to trust.

Variety says, "The decision to feature a married same-sex couple on a children's program has been met with overwhelmingly positive reactions."

Heads up parents and grandparents who would "not" respond overwhelmingly positive to this form of indoctrination of your children.

WA State Mother On Trial For Funding Terrorist Group

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

The trial for Hinda Osman Dhirane of Kent, Washington is underway.

Dhirane, a 44-year-old mother of 6, is charged with supporting and providing material support to a terrorist organization.

She is accused of funneling money to the al-Qaida-affiliated group al-Shabaab.

The defense of the mother being offered in the trial suggests that although she supports the terrorist group, she didn't "act" out in any "terrorist" way.

I am reminded of the speech Newt Gingrich gave Wednesday evening at the GOP Convention in which he told Americans, "We Are Sleep Walking Through History."

News Alert. Roger Ailes, the man who built Fox News and Fox Business Channel and has maintained its conservative integrity has resigned amid accusations that he sexually assaulted several women at Fox.
Meghn Kelly is one of the women who has accused him.
He denies the accusations. Bill O'Rielly, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Sustran and others have said if Ailes goes, they, too, will leave Fox. Many, in fact most of the people working at Fox---some working for Ailes for the past 20 years, say they do not believe the allegations. They say its about certain women wanting to "be" the news rather than simply reporting the news,
It is also reported that there has been a power struggle with Fox as to who should be the "face" of Fox.

Adult Children of Same-Sex Parents Suffering Depression

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

A new study finds that adult children raised by same-sex parents are twice as likely to suffer delayed-onset depression as their peers raised by heterosexual parents.

This first of its kind study is coming under fire from the same people who have "established" that anyone who objects to same-sex marriage is a "bigot."

The study reveals that the so-called "bigots" are actually champions for the children.

I'll be discussing some of last night's highlights of the Republican Convention on our live radio program today.

You may join me at 9 AM PDT on the air, on the computer, or on your phone from anywhere in the world. Here's how.

Progressive Media Defines Pence, Platform and Party

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Mike Pence is speaking tonight at the Republican Convention.

In advance, the secular progressive media in America are busy defining vice presidential candidate Pence, hoping to influence a public who is just getting to know him.

The "enlightened" progressive press is saying "You may recognize him as the governor who inspected your productive organs every 30 days to make sure you weren't using them in a way that would make Jesus sad."---That's a quote.

The Platform, some are  saying, was created by cranky church elders in a hot room asking one another, "Who should go to hell?"

The Platform itself, they say, is "the Republican Party's suicide note."

And by the way MSNBC reports , "Mike Pence is a bigot."

I'm encouraged.

Bill Nye, The Science Guy, Visits Noah's Ark

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Bill Nye, the man who influenced millions of kids on PBS as "Bill Nye the Science Guy," visited the new Noah's Ark attraction in Kentucky this month.

Nye told NBC and King 5 in Seattle is reporting that he found, in the biblically based recreation of the Ark, was "much more troubling or disturbing than I thought it would be."

"It's not just misleading," he said, "but wrong---absolutely wrong."

Nye says Noah's story, as told in Genesis, is "hogwash."

Note: Each day this week we will be discussing what we feel are the most important aspects of the Republican Convention. They will be addressed both in this column and on our live daily radio program. You may join me on the air, on your computer, or on your phone from anywhere in the world. Here's how
Yesterday, the convention approved the most conservative, biblically based platform in recent years. Highlights are included below.

"God's Not Dead 2" Billboard Nixed At GOP Convention

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

A large paid advertisement billboard promoting the "God's Not Dead 2", film will not be displayed at the Republican Convention as it begins today in Cleveland.

However, attendees will be greeted by a giant billboard with President Ronald Reagan's image saying, "We establish no religion in this country...Church and state are, and must remain, separate."

That billboard sign was purchased by the atheist Freedom From Religion Foundation.

Atheist messages are OK with the RNC and messages involving God are not?

What's going on?

Trump Picks Pence--Who is Mike Pence?

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

This morning, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was scheduled to announce at 11 AM, EDT, who his running mate will be.

Due to the terror attack in Nice, France, last night, Trump postponed his announcement out of respect for those who lost their lives and their loved ones.

This morning, he Tweeted that he has indeed chosen Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate and will announce it publicly and officially on Saturday.

I said a week and a half ago and again yesterday on our daily live radio program that I believed Trump would pick Mike Pence.

I am pleased he has made that choice.

What does this mean to Christians and conservatives?

Who is Mike Pence?

Below is an in depth look at the man, his family, his beliefs and his political career.

President's Promise Kept--10,000 Syrian Refugees By Sept. 30

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Sec. of State John Kerry told the audience at the Eid al-Fitr or "end of Ramadan" reception at our State Department this week, "Tonight I can announce proudly that we will meet President Obama's goal of welcoming 10,000 Syrian refugees to the United States in the current fiscal year."

Fiscal Year ends September 30.

Kerry said, "It's also representing a six-fold increase over what we did the year before."

Last year, the US welcomed 1,682 Syrian refugees.

Director of National Intelligence Director James Clapper has warned officials in the US, saying ISIS is "taking advantage of the torrent of migrants [entering Europe] to insert operatives into that flow."

Has our government vetted these refugees? Which communities will they settle into?

Pastors Silent As America Approaches Generational Vote For President

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
The 2016 presidential election will be the most important vote in a generation---multiple nominations to the Supreme Court will shape America for generations to come.

Religious freedom hangs in the balance.

So why are evangelical pastors less likely to be involved in this election than in the past?

Christian pollster and culture monitor, George Barna, has found only about half of the evangelical pastors plan to sponsor a voter registration drive at church---and only 6 in 10 even plan to mention the election from the pulpit.

Why are pastors silent?

Barna shares some of his impressions.

Retiring God In America

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Nothing is more American in summer than baseball.

And nothing is more pathetic than the latest all-out effort to do away with singing "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch at Major League baseball games.

A New York newspaper writer has found his mission: Retire God from Baseball, because He's too old.

While attempts are being made at removing God from the "old ball game," reports are showing that many state, local and county institutions are also retiring God this summer in response to threats from atheists.

FBI Director To Congress: "What Do You Mean By 'Wrong'"

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF
Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee asked FBI Director James Comey yesterday, "Did former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton break the law---did she lie to the FBI---did she lie under oath---did she do anything wrong?"

FBI Director James Comey replied, "And what do you mean by wrong?"

Reminding me of Hillary's husband speaking under oath following his sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky--- President Clinton said, "It depends upon what the meaning of the word "is", is."

Secular progressivism.

So-called relative truth.

Hillary Clinton: Too Big To Jail

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Yesterday Ben Shapiro wrote: "On Monday, America celebrated the 240th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, which condemned King George III for '(obstructing) the Administration of Justice.' On Tuesday, the American left celebrated as the federal government obstructed the administration of justice on behalf of one of its ruling families, the Clintons."

I mentioned yesterday that last week, A/G Lynch met secretly with Bill Clinton.

Now we learn, 3 days later, the New York Times is reporting Hillary may offer A/G Lynch a position in her administration.

Over the 4th of July weekend, Obama abruptly announced that Hillary was flying with him on Air Force One to campaign in NC. Taxpayers paid for the travel.

FBI Director Comey will meet with members of Congress to answer more than a few questions. Possibly as soon as today.

FBI To Hillary: "No Charges"--The Fix Is In

After ripping Hillary repeatedly and telling the press, "There is evidence that they were extremely careless" in her handling of top secret US classified information---and that "although there is evidence of potential violations," FBI Director Comey is not recommending charges against her.

Obama appointed US Attorney General Loretta Lynch met secretly with Bill Clinton last week at a remote location at the Phoenix airport in her government jet. When a reporter asked about the 30 minute private meeting, she said it was a "happenstance" social meeting.

The fix is in.

Huge Majority Of Americans Want Immigration Ban

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Emma Lazarus, a Jewish American poet, penned the words that are displayed at the base of the Statue of Liberty:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”

America has indeed lifted our lamp to the golden door of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

While most Americans still believe this land is a golden door, they also have come to realize that some have come, not "yearning to breathe free," but obsessed with killing us.

A new survey finds almost 6 in 10 Americans support the banning of Islamic sharia ideology in America.

6 in 10.

My Beautiful America

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

Today we celebrate Independence, an independence framed in ways the world had not seen.

Today, 240 years later, we remember a God-given independence, and we celebrate our God-given rights.

Many today, July 4th, are expressing their love of country and gratitude of the freedom we have in this great land.

No one celebrates it better than an 80-year-old music icon, fiddler, and patriot, Charlie Daniels.

Below are the words to his, "My Beautiful America" and a link to him performing it.

Also linked below is an outstanding article--How Great is America?--- written by a conservative patriotic mother, from the point of view of the patriotic women who stood with their husbands. It includes excerpts from the lives of women like Martha Washington and others.

What Makes America Great?

Print Friendly Version of this pagePrint Get a PDF version of this webpagePDF

William Penn said, "Men must be governed by God or they will be ruled by tyrants."

Our Founding Fathers knew more than they wanted to know about being "ruled by tyrants."

In their Declaration of Independence, they embraced the true source of freedom---and they expressed that source openly, even infusing it into our Founding Documents, our laws and civil documents and our institutions, including public education.

The generations that followed looked for ways to offer praise to God for this great land and the blessings that have been given to America.

Sam Smith, a 24-year-old, was among one of those later generations who understood what made America so great.

You may not know him, but you will recognize what he did.

And some personal thoughts on the undeniable link between America and Christianity.
